That was impressive for Derek in El Toro, that guy never stops trying to learn and improve, proving he was a worthy choice to pilot a quick car. It doesn't hurt that the fans love him. I expect to see him chomping at the bit to build a car, maybe even for 2.0 That Nova is gorgeous, and I'm not even a fan of that early 70s body. Too bad for the GT zero team, that was a struggle from day 1 and it just never liked any setup on those tires.

The way Doug's car leaves (on a proper run) so flat level is just a thing of beauty. Pure sorcery. Just like a missile being fired. The whole fleet of "street cars" is just super impressive. Derek is just a natural when it comes to going fast. The guy led the first 10 or so laps of the Freedom 500 and now he's shredding it on the drag strip. Please sell him that car!!!

Doug's nova is so well built, such a nice car. LT engine, 7.5 to the quarter, no problem. Also you have to admire Andy, he doesn't really give a f*** about blowing the tires 2-3 times on a pass, without feeling a single instance of fear, he will stay on it, hell bent on pushing it

I've been watching all the different drivers and videos all week I do have to say that guy "Red" knows his stuff, he is a God-send when it comes to his knowledge of tuning and adjustments concerning the suspension, angles and overall troubleshooting. Doug, you always do a great job, Derek is the breakout driver of the week.
