El triste is considered one of the hardest songs, It is difficult and very demanding since that song is like a roller coaster, it goes up, it goes down, it goes up again, it goes up and goes down again and then goes up. You have to have a wide vocal range and the ability to hold high notes for a moment to suddenly lower the pitch and raise and sustain the high note with more power and extensive management of the respiration.

The Sadman How sad it was to break away, When we loved each other so much, Even the swallow went Foreshadowing the end. How sad everything looks without you, the seas from coast have gone, The colours have become grey, Everything is loneliness now! I don't know if I'll ever see you again, I don't know what will happen with my life without the blue brightness of your being that no more is shining over me. Today I want to taste my pain! I'm not asking for compassion nor mercy! The story of this love was written to be eternal. "How sad" , everyone says I am, That I'm always talking about you But they don't know that thinking in your love, in your love I've been able to help me live I've been able to help me live! I hope you love this beautiful and sad lyrics as I do. In Spanish it has a poetic beauty that is lost in the translation but you listen how master José José delivered putting all his heart on it.

This was the song representing Mexico in the Oti Festival which is like Eurovision. From that Festivals many superstars emerged. After that contest, Jose Jose became a Latin superstar. Always proud of his culture He was extremely successful. Right now Jose Jose is in a very delicate State his health is deteriorating fast.Due to his lifestyle, he lost his incredible voice at least a decade ago. And he is now battling Pancreatic Cancer. Sadly there is no cure for that type of Cancer. Never the less he will always be remembered as one of the great voices of Mexico and a Latin superstar.

MAN, I love what you're doing. Music trascends cultures. I've been discovering a lot of music of Latin American culture and I've developed a refreshed, renewed vision of what my own culture is. It feels like I've been able to see beyond geopolitical and ideological borders that separate one and other and started to see more deeply how similar we are, how we perceive and interpret emotion (fear, pain, happiness, joy, nostalgia) through art. Music carries a piece of history along. You can connect the knots and piece things together and realize how we're truly related with each other as people, as human beings. It's kinda funny to find an english-speaking, young man listening and reacting to our history. Specially with all the bad things going on in the world right now. It feels like we're stablishing connection through the voices of our culture. Thank you for this relieving experience. Greetings from Venezuela!

"The Sad one" How sad it was to say goodbye, When we adored each other so much, Even the swallow migrated Foreshadowing the end. How sad everything is without you, The beach has no sea, The colors turn gray, Everything is loneliness now. I don't know If I'll see you once again, I don't know what will become of my life without the light of your being, that doesn't shed light on me anymore. Today I want to savor my pain, I don't ask for compassion nor pity This love story was written to be eternal "What a sad one", everyone says of me, That I'm always speaking of you But they don't know that by thinking of your love, of your love, I am able to help myself go on, to help myself live. Today I want to savor my pain, I don't ask for compassion nor pity This love story was written to be eternal "What a sad one", everyone says of me, That I'm always speaking of you But they don't know that by thinking of your love, of your love, I am able to help myself go on, to help myself live.

This singer has a statue in México City in Colonia Clavería of Azcapotzalco, he was the Frank Sinatra of México and also a Sinatra's friend.

Frank sinatra? El no cantaba amigo, la mayoria de las canciones las hablaba...no tenia el poder de ningun cantante en la voz Aunque interpretaba bonito le faltaba voz.
@Vale-dn9xg6 жыл бұрын
Javier Salinas pues hablaba las canciones muy bonito y es un ídolo en USA por eso me parece justa la comparación, obvio prefiero a José José.
@Solo_yo-6 жыл бұрын

This is wrong. You translated things using spanish grammatical rules. On top of that, you translated individual words and phrases wrong. People who dont speak spanish could get an idea of what the song is about, but nothing beyond that. This translation is far form doing justice to the original lyrics. Good intentions tho.
@louiebecerra3925 жыл бұрын
@@eplays9521 well said. He translated words and not the phrases or meanings. Good intentions for our English speaking friends, but misdirection on the translation.
@fabianespinoza9915 жыл бұрын
Cesar Davila Ulloa nice job even though not a perfect translation. I have to point one thing out because I’ve noticed others have made the same mistake. “Saborear” translates to “savor” and not “taste”. So the lyrics are closer to “today I want to savor my pain”. That changes the meaning.
