Ela Ada is a traditional Kerala delicacy which is made of rice flour and sweet fillings. As it is steamed and cooked , this delicious Ela Ada is healthy too. Rice flour, coconut, jaggery are the main ingredients required for Ela Ada. Cut jaggery into small pieces and grate the coconut. Now crush some cumin and cardamom and mix it with the grated coconut.
Collect some banana leave to make Ela Ada. We can use both rice flour or wheat flour to make Ela Ada. Prepare the dough and spread it on the banana leaf. Now add little, the mixture of coconut, jaggery, and crushed cardamom , cumin on the dough and close the banana leaf. Now prepare other Ada and cook it by steaming. Delicious Ela Ada is ready.
