Thanks Steve....! Just watched all 4 in a row, lovin the drone footage, I was in that area for the second time about 6 weeks ago, recognised many of the roads you were on, think I need to start venturing more off road and onto the tracks as you did, currently nursing 8 broken ribs as of an accident almost 3 weeks ago, give it another week and I'll be back out for a short ride, see how it feels, then I might head to Elan and and follow your route from the top of the dam, the one where you initially turned back, (By the way, there was a dead end sign at the beginning...😂)

Ysbyty Ystwyth means the Hospital on the river yswyth. This goes back to the time when it was part of a pilgrimage route to Strata Florida. It probably included Mwnt at some point as well. Cycled through there many times.

Winter must have finally caught up with you as your content release has slowed? I haven’t been on my bike for months and can’t wait to get out once the ice melts. I was curious if you’ve seen anywhere in the UK carrying the new BMW Connected Cradle? I haven’t found it anywhere in the USA yet.
@Adventure4LifeTV2 жыл бұрын
Hi, Yes, I have seen that cradle available here. I think I even saw one on Ebay from one the dealers. I'll let you know if I see any. New video out today by the way :) Sorry its took a while. I've had issues with file sizes etc. Steve (Adventure 4 Life)

Great idea putting the what3words locations on 👍love the drone footage too, how far away from you can you fly it and does yours need a licence? Just watched all 4 videos, my idea of a box set worth watching to cheer me up in early January.
@Adventure4LifeTV2 жыл бұрын
Hi, Thanks for watching and for your kind comments. The drone is the DJI Air2s and it can go about 3 miles away from you but the rules state you should keep it in sight, so I keep it quite close. Also if it weighs under 250gr then no license is needed at the moment. Thanks again. Adventure 4 Life (Steve)
@Bazza472 жыл бұрын
@@Adventure4LifeTV Thanks, I don't know if it's just because I love Elan Valley but when I've watched other vloggers use drones or those 360 cameras I always thought they didn't add anything to the video and often detracted from it but your footage worked really well IMO 👍

Cracking vid. How do you do your routes. Basecamp
@Adventure4LifeTV2 жыл бұрын
Hi Chris, I do use basecamp sometimes for longer tours which i plan well in advance. If it's just a particular area like the Elan vids, then i just head to that area and then just go on fully explore mode without a e=real plan. Thanks for watching and commenting. Adventure 4 LIfe (Steve)

You said about 3/4 of the way through that you thought the road was closed a little further down but you'd seen some bike coming up, the next thing we see is you turning around, was the road closed to a point where you couldn't circumvent the obstruction?
@Adventure4LifeTV2 жыл бұрын
Yes, I turned around to get the drone out. A lady pulled up and said it was closed still. I found out after that you can get through on a bike as they are just chopping trees down. Adventure 4 lIfe
