My first was about 8 hours after having regular BH all day. 2nd was hard hard 3 hours of active labor after regular BH all day. Third was quite mild contractions the whole time for about 8 hours

That name is beautiful and there is a lesson there: Society tells us we make our own lives and plan our own roads and success will come by our own rules. Yet, what do we do when God calls us to another way? You had nine months to prepare your heart to accept what God has for you and even in hospital the birth going different than you had thought/planned…. We need to submit to Him. His blessing will increase through our obedience to Him and you can see that every time you look at that perfect little gift. 😊

Your triggers are your responsibility. A c section literally is not a natural birth, and neither is a vaginal delivery using an epidural

The term natural, whether to describe the birth or absence of pain medication/tools, can still be disheartening to those who used assistance as it implies their experience was unnatural. The concept is still the same ❤ no harm done by my comment. I love Elanna and have followed her for years, I’m just a mom of birth trauma and there is a huge community out there of women who have had traumatic births and in honour of those women I believe the language surrounding birth should be tweaked. In particular the label “natural”. Elanna seems like a kind enough godly woman and mother to understand this x
