The fact that this thing was nearly comparable in size to a woolly mammoth is astonishing

In its own way, Elasmotherium is just as mythical as the unicorn itself! A truly remarkable animal that lived in an equally remarkable environment! Merry Christmas one and all! Another excellent video!!!!

I feel like with Elasmotherium horn it’s likely still going to be debated until they find one frozen in the ice with the horn attached

The siberian rhino (Elasmotherium sibiricum) was the largest rhino that ever lived, just like Macroeuphractus outesi was the largest armadillo that ever lived.

Good work on the Elasmotherium, my friends! And Merry Christmas to you all! Someday, you can make more videos on other prehistoric rhinos from Paraceratherium and the famous Woolly Rhino, Celodonta.

Thanks. And someday, people really need to help these rhinos from extinction.

There are some smaller inaccuracies, like megaloceros probably wasn't the largest elk or deer. Cervalces scottii and cervalces latifrons were probably a bit bigger.

Suggestion: lower the music volume. Love classical music, but Tschaikowskij pieces can be pretty loud if not tuned down, ain't Debussy after all.

yeah, thought that segment might have been a tad too loud, will fix in the future

I like the giant rhinoceros name better. Because Siberian unicorn name is childish and an inaccurate misonamer. They're neither a unicorn nor limited to Siberia
@Epoch_Now19 күн бұрын
While this is a good point, calling it the giant rhinoceros also isn’t exactly a great idea considering animals like paraceratherium were MUCH larger rhinos
@manuelsimoes124517 күн бұрын
