This video covers Part 2 of elbow complex biomechanics. Here we discuss the ligaments of the elbow complex and their biomechanical role and function. The elbow joint is a modified hinge joint and hence have collateral ligaments. The collateral ligaments are namely:
1. The Medial Collateral Ligament or Ulnar Collateral Ligament - Which in turn is composed of an anterior, posterior and transverse bundle or parts.
2. The Lateral Collateral Ligament Complex- Which in turn is made of three separate ligaments namely- The lateral radial collateral ligament, the lateral ulnar collateral ligament and the annular ligament,
