Me and my wife have seen Elbow perform twice, we would often put our Elbow playlist on the Google speaker and potter about the house My wife walked down the isle to Mirrorball and we walked out to one day like this. Kate, my wife died of Leukaemia just over a month ago. I don't think I'll ever be able to listen to Elbow again. I feel like I would be betraying my late wife 🤷🏼‍♂️.

Wow. Something like this happened to me with my dog too. "Build a rocket boys!" was released near final days of my beloved pointer "Oddy". He got cancer and we had to put him away about mid march of 2011. Some parts of "Open Arms" reminds me him most than any song and it's mostly impossible to me not to release a tear when I listen to it. I take this in a very good way, he was a long-lived happy doggy.
