imagine beeing palestinian and not even get the chance to speak up because you'd either die or stamped as terrorist infront of the rest of the world. imagine beeing a child in myanmar getting slaughtered by buddhists, with noone giving a damn. imagine beeing native african, getting everything you own burned down for western profit. in all those cases people do music and stand strong. but not everybody has a whole EU behind them supporting them and getting refuge like ukraine does.

From what? In over a decade with Two Separate supposed Russian "aggressions" (funny use of an inaccurate word) reported that have lasted years each we have seen Zero Footage of any Russian presence in Ukraine. Zero. How tf is that even _possible?_ In today's world where satellites can zero in on a text message on our phone we _haven't seen_ a single video of any Russian action in Ukraine?

Dermaßen viel Ausdruckskraft! War bei diesem Konzert/dieser Performance. Eine in Worten kaum zu beschreibende Erfahrung. DakhaBrakha, sowas von Danke 🙏 Und als am Ende des Konzertes die Handylampen leuchteten - oh, das kann Elphi auch - es war overwhelming. Es sind bezüglich der Lage sehr, sehr viele Tränen geflossen, welche nicht jeder sehen konnte. Insgesamt: Faszination in Reinform.

Moving Marko over to Nina's side seems different from his face obscuring Lena's lovely profile. I think it makes them look more like a Jack Parnell band than when Lena was somewhat obscured and diminished from her obvious concern about every musical ingredient. The Members of the Ensemble need to have tremendous respect for each other to remain together for 20 years. They have had less changes to their Group than the Rolling Stones. They deliver Memphis Blues along with all the other various musical flavors in a package that would adorn 1920's Paris Jazz clubs, or Beale Street with Lena Horne, quite well.

A fab expression of a vital, complex and innovative culture: folk-based music with many entertaining contemporary layers! I noted similar in 2022 while visiting many Central / East European countries. These guys are lead exponents! Followed for a few years, but sadly not seen live, as they were sick for Pohoda 2022.
