An Earth-leakage circuit breaker (ELCB) is a safety device used in electrical installations with high Earth impedance to prevent shock. It detects small stray voltages on the metal enclosures of electrical equipment, and interrupts the circuit if a dangerous voltage is detected.

I am confused about RCCB & ELCB. The Same Explanation if found regard RRCB ، Earth Cleakage circut breaker Actually Detect the leakage current , Means The earthing is mandetory. But RCCVB works Acoording to Difference of Current flow B/W Live and Nelyetral. No need for Earthing

The Motive Maestro can earth wire only protect us from shock , if the device don’t have ELCB ? Do I need to put both earth wire and ELCB together or only one is enough to protect me fro shock ?
