Teams larger than 3 should lose the ability to use UAVs of all types, can't pickup hunt squads and then perhaps team size also does things like add multipliers to store items. Maybe also apply a similar treatment to killing squads (that red circle) with an orange one for all the others > 3. While we're at it, can we get Hunt Squads to stop loot targeting solo players.

I feel both Warzone and DMZ as a whole were meant for 4 player squads maximum. Start us with 3 players and let 1 person join the squad if his team is bad/they're alone. That way if there's a platoon callout, we 100% know it's 4 men and we aren't left guessing.

I’d rather go back to the truce system, with the change that the truce remain in effect for the rest of the match, I’m usually fine with reviving people after I kill them, but more often then not I’d prefer if I can revive someone but not have to add them to my team.

When people platoon up, they get a false sense of security. Every time I have been on a team and the randoms pick up another squad they go straight for a hunt contract. So when they do that I just hang back and do my own thing and lmao when the other 5 are dead bitching about “How come you didn’t push the Hunt contract with us”

for every person in a squad above 3, reduce the max plates by 1. 4 man squads only get 2 plates. Five and six man squad members can only ever have 1 plate. Combine that with allowing people to leave a squad at any time. Make there be a cost/risk increase for large groups and provide a mechanism for betrayal for people who don't want the handicap. Right now, there is absolutely no cost for platooning up. Make it cost. Also, if two squads are in close proximity without damaging one another within some reasonable amount of time, put them on everyone's map regardless of any hiding mechanism until they start fighting. No faux platoons.

I think 6mans should be marked at all times and cannot get hunt contracts as well as if they try to get a hunt contract before assimilating the hunt contract auto cancels... I'm a solo most of the time cause I'm more mission oriented but randoms do their own thing and I don't have friends who play video games in general or have time too.. but the rush from trying to survive or go against a 6man is awesome

Just have separate (DMZ) lobbies; i.e. six man lobbies, five and four man lobbies or trios and duos.. it should be whatever people want. I frequently play with a group of my good close buddies who all live across state lines and are married with families and careers etc (we’re all over 40 and use Xbox). Being able to sync up our servers is a real treat, literally all six of us just rolling around in DMZ having FUN. Btw we don’t hunt players either, we’re more interested in missions and unlocking achievements. And if it’s only three or four of us on occasion we always try to let other players join up with us if they want to, the more the merrier.

My hope was that they'd at least have some sort of stacking penalties for platoons. Like when you're at 5, no more UAVs (or something). And when you add a 6th...well, your special vests are just regular 3 plates for the rest of the match. Something like that would at least act as some sort of deterrent.

It needs to change. 1. Only solo players can assimilate 2. Squads can vote to disban - unanimous 3. Assimilation capped at 5 4. All 4-5 man squads are disallowed from using killstreaks(uavs, precision, etc) 5. All players are altered on comms of a 4-5 man within 150m 6. Exfil birds can ONLY carry 3 at a time of the same squad.

I agree it should be capped at 3 players per squad. But I also know there is players that like the challenge of hunting platoons. So why cant Activision make 3 modes for DMZ then. One mode for only solos, second mode max of 3 man squads but you can spawn in solo or due as well to take on 3 man squads. and then a mode for platoons where you can spawn in 6 man squads from start but also you can span in as a solo or due and so on. make it all round for almost every body

i got ratted out recently by a team collegue. he played stupid and slow and dragged on purpose so his mates in another team caught up to us. of course they were already five and left me lying in the dumpster. their banter left nothing left for guessing. i dont mind getting assimilated, but teams over 4 players receive no consideration from the game design perspective. no features removed or nerfed, regular squads get not notified of the increased danger of an approaching platoon. some games address this very well and it works.

They’ve removed the lobby code from the bottom left hand screen on start up - for ps5 anyway. But you can still match up the countdown clock

Or instead of ruining a play style for people that may enjoy that play style because you don’t enjoy it, have different game modes. here are a few ideas: Standard DMZ: DMZ as we know it now DMZ trios: lock the max squad size to three, keep pleading wishing the mode however picked up oleas and the person who picked the pleas up cannot damage each other within either a certain time limit, range, or a mix of both. DMZ solos: just you, whatever you take with you and everyone else in the game, same plea rules as the above trios. In addition give us an option to not assimilate but still accept pleas in normal DMZ Now everyone’s happy.

Platoons in DMZ are generally dominating and something to fear. We’ve all been steamrolled by them at some point and the memory of that keeps us on edge. Most of us including myself don’t stand a chance against them. Watching videos of the highly skilled players who wipe them as a squad or as a solo is as satisfying as it is entertaining. Platoons don’t detour me from playing the DMZ, they make me more determined to grow and evolve as a player. Platoon killers educate us with their strategies and their decision process during engagement. Platoons should stay in the DMZ.

i think it should be a max of 3 players per team, 6-man teams are just over kill. as a solo player i too have some really good games taken out 6-man teams but for the most part of it I'm normally getting squad hunted falling victim to a 6 vs 1 squad hunt I'm not even sure how call of duty sees this as fair play.

Start as a solo, duo or max squad of 3. You get 1 assimilation no mather how you come in. So 4 man is the max. They should change the hunt sqaud contract also. It's not fair that the hunter can see your position and the hunted don't know where they are coming from. The more players in the hunter squad the more disadvantage they should have.

Do not delete assimilation but limit it to 4 man teams. Without assimilation, solo play would be over. Communication is a big part of DMZ. Remove 5-6 man’s altogether. If auto fill, allow only 1. Even 3 would work but let solos or duos join or invite. JMO.

I think they should have a timer restriction to teaming up. It will allow teams to finish up certain missions and those to just knock out others before a 6 man can form up. And the plea, you form a truce and that truce goes away after separation from 250m in distance

Wont do much in case for solo player meeting a 4player squad. Some of us actually just treat DMZ as Mission filled campaign with bots. I would offer a simpler thing: Players need to send/accept a skirmish request from other squads, otherwise they cannot take damage. This would allow people to play DMZ without being jumped constantly. If I wanted to compete with other players, i would play BR or MP. Dealing with tier3 bots and getting blind-sided by a squad who is just waiting till I use my ammo and plates on bots and then getting an easy kill is not anyones idea of fun. Also, what's the point of assimilation, if nobody picks up the downed players? Looted my gun/3plate vest? Good on you, now let me go my own way. But noooo. Interesting indeed what the future holds for DMZ

Chinese players loves to do assimilations. I played DMZ with squad fill on. we played for awhile and killed some players. then we went to a specific place where I saw some players running around. I pinged one and tried to snipe them. coms went on and said don't kill them, their friends. then they formed a pre-made six man team. I was bummed out coz I we were fine playing as a squad but they have to form a platoon to bully players in DMZ.

Assimilation needs to go, there's ABSOLUTELY NO missions that are too tough for a team of three. IDK how many times my random teammates avoid other players at all costs. Then when we pick up other downed players, now all of a sudden they must have asked their girlfriend for their balls back, because now they want to hunt other players. BTW, by hunt I mean they start a fight then run away and sit 200m away and watch everyone else fight the teams until the other team is dead. Then they crawl out of their safe little hiding spot like cockroaches so they can be the first one to loot all the dead bodies

As much as I think platoons should have no access to UAV, have a constant UAV on them, and not be able to start hunt squads on any team smaller than their own, I’m kind of getting sick of streamers and KZbinrs bitching about how big a problem platoons are when they instigate the fights. The first truck here just drove on, didn’t even take a single shot. No one shot at him until after he started shooting, and even then, it looks more like bots targeting him after he started shooting.

I think every player should get a limited set of revives of enemy operators. You get 1 each raid and that's it. You can call a truce with enemy squads instead of joining that lasts for 2 minutes or whatever instead of assimilation. I don't think there's a solution everyone will be happy with tbh. Go back to the truce system but make it last the rest of the match. Then If you do 6 man then when people get downed they can only be revived by 1-2 teammates vs 4-5 different teammates. Then you could kill the whole lobby and pick up anyone you wanted and then everyone would just be free to do their missions if that's their plan.

I might be better if they handicapped platoons,(perhaps only 2 plate vests / no vehicles or something like that)... I also think that equipment recovered from other players should be "damaged" giving more incentive to build your gear over stealing it.

As of today you can’t plea as a solo. I have played 11 games and died 7 times to a team but it just went straight to the squad eliminated screen. I can assimilate befor hand and I can plea if I’m in a group. Solo got the shaft as of today.
