Katja, this was a far jauntier tune than we usually get to experience on your channel, which is ironic because it speaks to such dark and challenging times. In my own life, I have found humor and levity to be one of the best ways to endure moments that are tragic, difficult, or seemingly hopeless. Some times we need to laugh so that we don't cry. There are other examples of this in popular culture as well such as Blackadder or the infamous musical featured in The Producers. Jokes and buffoonery can be the ultimate weapon against some of the most horrific events in human history and helps rob evil of its power. The suffering that so many have struggled through in war, poverty, and famine has often been overcome through songs such as this. I really loved the violin in this piece which accompanied your piano. It added an extra level of depth and voice to the song and it was incorporated beautifully. Of course, the star was your beautiful voice. Hearing the rolls and trills of your native Finnish is always a special treat that we don't always get to experience and I am grateful when we have the privilege. While the lyrics weren't understandable to me, I could still feel the emotion and passion that you poured into your performance. It's wonderful of you to share this song on your nation's Independence Day. The more I learn about your heritage the more I am impressed by your people's resilience, courage, and character, all traits that you possess as well. I look forward to your next creative expression. It can even be harder for a more or less modern German person to understand every part right away, but I definitely love it when you sing in Finnish, my valkoinen lumiprinsessa Katja! ❄⛄❄⛄❄ Until I read the English translation I never thought it was a war song, it somehow gave me more of the Finnish "Salivili hipput tupput täppyt" polkka vibes! ❄⛄❄⛄❄ When you sing (or even speak) in Finnish you show even more passion, feeling, fun, charm, grace and enthusiasm than usual and I love how you walk through the snowy forest in your thick white jacket with a hood and leather pants and boots (we had also a little snow in Germany, but it has melted again)! ❄⛄❄⛄❄ I also like how you throw your snowball with a mischievous smile on your lips (did you hit your target?) and cleverly hide behind a tree from the enemy snowball and grin gleefully afterwards! ❄⛄❄⛄❄ Rakastan lunta ja siksi ehdottaisin, että pidämme seuraavan tapaamisemme kotimaassasi Suomessa emmekä linnassamme Transilvaniassa, jossa on sauna, salmiakki, talvitunnelmaa, hienoja suomalaisia erikoisuuksia ja jääprinsessa Katja! ❄⛄❄⛄❄ Mitä mieltä olette? ❄⛄❄⛄❄
