As a few people pointed out, after the enemy ball falls you need to stay close by, otherwise you won't get runes. Also, if you're playing on a next-Gen console, it's actually a little quicker to fast travel to the nearby grace instead of walking there 😎

If u are to far away it won't give u the runes just dash straight to the tree the rock can't go past it and u will get runes every time😉

It still works, you just have to stay near while it falls... Once it gets passes through me I watch it fall. At first I was mad, thinking this didn't work out anymore, but it does! Amazing one, thanks for the content.

thanks for explaining this better than other youtubers i just leveled up 20 times in a row what i do is i turn left at the 2nd rock to kind of trick it and then jump to the right its a close call but i jump again. takes some practice. lol i even kill that stupid dear in the way too lol (you can use white markers as a a way to rememebr to jump at too) im a level 76 now by the way it works)

Depending on your class, I recommend leveling up a little before trying to obtain the golden scarab. That cave sucks early game.

There's like hidden mechanic where some enemies may spawn with golden eyes, those enemies will drop a LOT more runes than what they would usually do, probably is that why you got 9K instead of 2K

Tip- if you stay near the bridge side under it and the ball looks like seems to go straight down sometimes instead of 1.9 they will give you almost 10k!! So it’s all about timing as well great Rune Farm!

@@sparks8606 it’s just it’s kinda confusing as well hahaha you do the same steps as the video only try to bet closer to the edge one closer to the Pilar of the bridge if the magic ball lands perfectly down the cliff it should give almost 10k its not always but out of those 1.9 sometimes you could get almost 10k it’s matter of luck tbh

One theory to this was that some monsters or animals respawn with golden eyes and when that happens they drop a lot more runes. Because I tried the pillar thing to be honest when it happened to me and it didn’t work. How sure are you that your theory is accurate?

So typically this thing grants you a little over 1900 runes, but at some point for whatever reason it’s granted me over 9000 twice so far. Anyone experience this and know the trick to make it happen? Awesome video btw. Highly appreciated!

@@JoeyJumper65163 it's a little tricky. You have to make sure the ball falls off the right way. It takes a few tries, but it does work. Sometimes it does show up as low runes. Just like the first one you have to watch the ball fall.

on the way there by the poision traps the enemies drop 11 runes and are very easy to kill....much easier to just run around and kill those guys
