The ledge in the Mohgwyn Palace area is still faster and more efficient. A good tip for it is as night the glowing eyed enemies have a higher spawn chance

You should've compared how many runes you actually get per minute. With all the running (farther than what the Ledge requires), I think the Albinaurics on the Ledge still give more runes per minute. At ng+4, no buff or item whatsoever, one Wave of Gold nets you ~80k runes at ng+4, which takes around 10 seconds from grace, running to position, casting WoG, then running to grace again; that's ~480k per minute without any buffs.

It’s does not take 10 seconds , the wave doesn’t even move that fast 😂 more like 20 seconds but it’s still faster you’re right you’re not getting that much per minute. The best was by far the jumping of the map and swinging method but it got patched .

He does start the video by saying “if you’re getting a little bored of the palace approach ledge farm”, importantly, so I don’t think his main concern is efficiency. I stopped doing it and just starting farming as a phantom on Mohg himself, yeah it isn’t as efficient either but a lot more engaging, fun, and with enough time to throw on gold scarab and eat a golden rune item after he dies but before runes drop

Albinauric farm + scarab talisman still the best. You just need to move 100 meters down and make three waves. Then map, fire and again, so with less than 30 seconds you earn +100K 🤜🤛

Nothing comes even close the albinauric farm. In the first playthrough you can get 650-800k runes in the duration of a golden pickled fowl foot and during night. Even 1 million if you're lucky.

I think the best farm is not even to farm the palace approach but do just the bird over and over with the gold scarab talisman and gold horned tender 19,000 runes for each kill

I feel like there might be a version of that horse one where u jump off the map and swing i got the same deathcam camera when i fell off with my horse in the dragon area but i quit out before i died theres a chasm i think before reached igons last location sorta by the spirit springs its hard to describe but ill try it later today see if it works

Definitely does not drop more runes. I get 7,500 per kill from the ledge. These guys dont even drop close to that amount. There's also the occasional 35k from the glowing eye mobs on the ledge. Not really worth it even for the smithing stones. I can always farm runes and buy those easily.

This is not any how better than the old way shown in the beginning of the video. Runes pr min and pr hour is way slower. On a NG+ 1 hour farming on old spot gives me about 28-32 million runes. And that's only 1 hour... This was what 3 min and only 100-200k runes? That's nothing and very slow. It's new yes but not the best.
