Yeah it's .4x of specifically the faith part, though keep in mind that the highest you get is 353 at 80 faith so that's like 140 AR at best(and fire damage is the worst split damage type). Because the fire damage is so low and the bleed is a flat 40 over time it's just way better to slap it on a physical build and call it a day

Man Bloodflame Blade really adds a lot of Bleed buildup to your build! Statuses in Elden Ring are super busted. Personally I think you should add Sleep to your next build. I hear the St. Trina's Torch is one of the strongest options in the game.

got a build suggestion for you: The Honest Patches build Armor: Patches' set Armaments: Misericorde w/quickstep main hand, but put away so they can't see it and it looks like you have no weapon Any shield with parry Focus entirely on maximum backstab damage with few if any visible buffs, and the point of the build is to trick your opponent using only the most vile and dishonorable means possible, E.g. open with a bow, and when they go to bow you backstab them. See how many you can win using only cheap tricks lol

...You know, why do I feel like Chase does Bloodflame builds so infrequently? They're pretty common -- even I've done Bloodflame Morning Star and Great Star playthroughs. It's probably because he prefers to be able to switch weapons, but still, Chase prefers using single weapons over dual wield, and bleeds at like 2:47 16:45 are just gold, that wasn't even the most that could do. I'm loving this buff theme. What next, greases that work well on unusual weapons? Magic grease on Clayman's Harpoons and Lifesteal fists? There any buffable weapons that deal fire or lightning even when uninfused?

If you plan to use "Order's Blade" I recommend using the Golden Epitaph's buff beforehand as it gives flat +35 holy damage to everything and it also stacks with weapon buffs.

Try a dual weild build with buffs it's quite crazy, but maybe not quite as optimal a style as per usual for you. Things like Chilling/Poisonous Mist on one hand and Flaming/Lightning Strike on the other!

I’m surprised the finger seal is the most optimal. On a strength build with minimal faith investment to hit stat requirements I’d expect the beast seal to scale the best- unless the blood flame AR is based on faith scaling and not strength scaling. I ask this because I found out recently that arcane builds with dragon communion seal are horrible with healing incantations- the healed amount scales off your faith only and not your arcane.

Yeah spells have split scaling in this game: damage spells are based off the actual displayed number, however weapon buffs are based off the particular scaling and when a weapon doesn't scale off the stat(or you don't meet reqs) then it's treated as a scaling of 100 which is why the Staff of the Guilty is plenty viable as a Faith Sorcery option but Scholar's Armament with be completely terrible and only give a flat 75 damage

Something to try is Arcane scaling weapons that can be buffed. The Ripple Blade and halberd version. Supposedly their Arcane scaling and buffability makes Bloodflame Blade (especially used with an Arcane seal) even stronger.

The fire damage of BFB scales solely with faith, so it doesn't benefits from innate arcane scaling. I'm fairly sure that you don't get any increase to bleed either, since iirc BFB doesn't adds any flat buildup to weapon, it adds the bloodflame debuff, which is a fixed 40 bleed\s over the duration of 2 seconds. Also, DC seal is probably the worst choice for squeezing more damage out of any weapon buff that is not poisonous armament due to it's bad faith scaling. All weapon buff incants sans poisonous armament scale solely off the faith portion of the seal's incant scaling and don't benefit from arcane at all.
