The only reason godskin duo is more hated is because it's a required boss. Meanwhile, you have to go out of your way to find the gargoyles, and they're not even required to access deeproot depths.

Godskin duo is ong one of the easiest duo fights in the game, mainly due to the pillars in the arena and the ability to put them to sleep. the valiant gargoyles are legitamently the worst fight in any souls game ive ever played. Its like a full regression on every piece of know age the team has built up over like a decade of making these games. Just combining all the worst possible elements together/
