the reason gelmir´s fury is not as strong as it sounds is because it was severely nerfed to hit 3 times before having a timer to do the same 3 hits and so on, the nerf was because many players used it in pvp as a "get off me" card since you couldn´t approach without taking considerable damage, giving them time to heal, i used it before it got nerfed and melted (literally) bosses in quick manner

The magma blade ash of war have 3 swipes not just one dude... press r2 (don't remember the button i think it is r2) just after the first swipe. The magma blade melt ennemies because of the 2 next swipes...

Why go for the Warrior Jar Shard talisman instead of the Shard of Alexander?

Beacuse its takes to long to get the shard of Alexander. This is almost at the very end of the main game.

Having to wait until Faram Azula for a +5% increase over the normal shard's 10%. The only remembrance bosses left are basically just Malicath, real Godfrey, Radagon, and Elden Beast. Unless you're doing NG+, you'll be done the challenge run within the next 1-2 hours by the time you get Alexander's shard. Only reason people opt for tbe normal shard is you can rush it as soon as you start the game, giving a power boost from the very beginning.

The thing with Magma Blade, Magma Wyrm's Greatsword and Magma Whip is you can't change the ash of war or put their ash of war on another weapon. So while they do magma damage I lumped them into the weapons that do the damage and spoke about Eruption separately
