I can't say I'm a fan of fromsoft stance of nerfing everything that is remotely fun, while simultaneously introducing both the hardest bosses and shittiest weapons and spells. We can't have fun fighting the bosses because they are crazy overtuned, we can't have fun using the new toys because they are crazy undertuned, and if there's a single weapon/spell that is good it gets slapped to the ground on the next patch. AC6 wasn't this bad with the balancing, and that one has a dedicated leaderboard with cosmetic rewards. If they pull this same shit again with their next game I'm getting it for free from unreputable sites.

They removed the actual bug along with a feature that made sense because people whined loud enough to be heard over the quiet majority.

The poison bottle being deadly poison is so cool because it adds one more viable poison weapon for people who don’t wanna just do another arcane bleed build. Throw poison moth flight on a milady or bring along the bloom pole blade for double DOT and that’s basically the best non bleed arcane build you can get.

Iirc, oil tear and bloodsucking are same amount of damage increase, if you go pure fire. That's because the oil tear is severely nerfed, compared to other sources of oil.

Relating to this bug, an invader spawned with no warning, the "you've been invaded" prompt appeared and before I could even see where he spawned in I got insta killed by rolling sparks, I was initially confused because I didn't hear that the Perfume bottles were bugged until after that invasion, but the perfume bottles got patched the day after I got invaded, so I wouldn't have reported him if it was just the perfume bug he used, but he also instantly spawned and attacked before any of us could react, I looked over just before the prompt appeared, no invader spawning in, I look away, the prompt appears, and I'm dead before I can even reactbecause the dude skipped his spawning animatiom, just popped into existence (this was outside the Maliketh boss room, so if he had the spawning animation in the few seconds between me looking away and the invasion prompt appearing, it would have been at the bottom of the bridge, he would not have enough time to reach us before we went into the boss room, only logical answer is he skipped the spawning animation right behind us, so I reported him for cheating for that reason)

Oh...now it makes sense.. i got invaded exploring dlc, guy comes in, one shots us with that move we were like "what the hell was that?" Later we find perfume weapons plus the ash, and i really liked it cause i play mage only, no melee weapon, just blue flask (playthrough 2) so it fits what im going for, but then I use it, and it didn't one shot invaders or anything so i was confused how he did it. Now I know it must have been patched by the time i got it. (I still use it tho cause I like the weapon)
