Fun fact: even when out of FP you can still perform the AOW but with a twist, the spread will be less but tighter and the damage will be poor but on the upside the bleed still gets applied and in my experice it procs easier since the spred is way tighter.

Hopefully not for PVE. For PvP: Scaling and/or FP cost should be adjusted. FP cost should be 2x or 2.5x higher. Yeah i know these kinds of nerfs will also affect PvE.

It’s amazing how this weapon is so good and the blood infused smithscript dagger is so much worse even with the same ash of war. Some incantations and spells added in this dlc are also really bad in comparison to others. Why are the Bayle incantations so bad in comparison to the multi thunderbolt incantation. Why is the final boss in the dlc incantation worse than that same thunderbolt incantation and it costs so much more fp and like 72 faith requirement. I hope those smithscript weapons and other less powerful weapons, spells, and incantations get buffed as a lot of them are either bad or super mediocre compared to the base game spells that got buffed due to something added in the dlc.

@@akaimizu9780 oh I see. Generally speaking I don't mind the close up damage, even if it's insane. It's more the range damage that is too high. If this is adjusted it would become more of a 'high risk - high reward' weapon, than a 'spamming L2 to force bleed proc + the base damage'. And the FP cost is too low. Chases fp bar was so tiny and he still could do like 9-10 activations without sacrificing any other stat points.

One of my favorite weapons for pvp. Heavies and ash of war are amazing for long distance pressure, and the ash turns into a shotgun at close range

All the Dex and Arcane equipment we got in the dlc helped me decide what build I wanted to use. I made an Ansbach inspired build where I use Leda's chest piece and Ansbachs Helmet, bracers and boots. Focusing on using Backhand blades and Great Katana with keen infusion and bloodflame blade. Incantations whise I'm using Ansbachs Incantation, Mohg's Incantation from his boss soul, the mosquito swarm, Bloodflame blade, Fire, grant me strength and Golden Vow. Mixed Elixir is set up to sap health to boost damage and passively heal to reduce the negative effect. I'll use any of the Blood art weapons except the new dlc bleed focused weapons
