the perfect block with the crystal tear depends of the thing you are using to block, with a ultragreatsword you almost never get push to a backflip, so for people interested, you can use it against almost all the bosses if you use big weapons or a shield

Dude it took me over 6hours, I repeat 6 hours, to take down Radahn with like 17 Scadu blessings, 2 greatswords, no shield or summons to be fair, but still. (I choked genuinely 30 times, with just 2-3 hits left at most) It was NG++ but I heard it had dynamic scaling(?), so I guess that doesn't matter. How the hell did you beat them with just a torch!? Impressive ngl.

When I got to Radahn, I found out you can parry him and I actually put on sweet victory to give me inspiration, and it worked. Love all your vids, keep it up Lenny. You can also parry Midra pretty easily

deflecting tear is so fun & changes the way I play so much, I wish it wasn't confined to my one-use-per-life flask and only for 3 minutes. It's not a viable enough tool for me to bring into most boss battles or consider it as part of my unga bunga build. Hey I just wanna say thanks for your epic gamer feedback on Radahn because I had a go at it after watching the video and, after trying on and off for the past couple of months for multiple hours (longest any Elden Ring boss has taken me so far lmao), I finally beat him!!! I didn't parry or use a torch tho, but your gaming prowess prolly just rubbed off on me :D Just have to go back to the base game for Placidusax and Malenia and I'll finally have beaten every boss! Atleast every remembrance boss lol.

I genuinely think midra is THE BEST souls fight in terms of design and balance, all of his attacks feel so graceful and well balanced. Without scadutree fragments in a high ng cycle his numbers are high enough to force you to spend time fighting him and looking for those signs and tells of his attacks. He's just so fun, I had a BLAST fighting him at a high new game cycle and trying to find a cheese, and instead going old reliable and just using a frost twinblade with chilling mist.
