at least we can fight the one in rauh as well lol. I kinda enjoy speedrunning Ng+ to the dlc, you can get to belurat really fast but it’s a pain to ride everywhere and set up stuff like Rennala to respec etc.

@@josephbulkin9222 their culture is really well made and I love how creepy the divine warriors are. I would’ve loved to fight another proper Hornsent boss (outside of jori and potentially midra)

I’m glad you like it! It took a bit of practice to get used to switching the spells without seeing the slots. it’s easy to get confused while focusing on the boss

@@Veloketh I can't even imagine the struggle. My spell slots consist of buffs and crucible spells, and I wouldn't drean to have no hud. I suppose that makes these videos special.

Ohhhh, looks like this little progeny partook in some Grandam-Abuse! Naughty, Naughty, no more Scorpion Stew for you my Friend! That aside, if it were not for the rampant camera issues I would almost like this fight, the OST at the very least is very good, but it is in general in Shadow of the Erdtree

Yeah I cut off grannies life support… love the new cutscene tho. But yeah rip to the stew I get that, even tho I absolutely love this boss I would lie if I said the camera was never an issue. You can avoid a lot with proper positioning and spacing but being cornered with off-screen AOE lightnings is just rough. Also yeah, OST is an absolute banger they relly cooked with fire for the dlc

This boss destroyed me for two hours thanks to it's standard bite attacks, I still don't know what to do about them. The thing that bothers me is the guy that is in the back of the costume gets awkwardly dragged around so that he can follow the main guy, instead of grabbing into the guy that is in the fronnt. Lastly, the wind moveset is way more imposible than the lightning phase.

yeah some of the bite attacks come out really fast and sometimes dodging preemptively after the first bite can get you enough distance in for the follow ups. The wind one has some different hitboxes for the melee moves and bites I think which can throw you off but the AOEs are the worst for lightning imo because of the offscreen lightning strikes
