I think we haven't seen the final boss of this expansion yet. Fromsoft usually keeps the final boss of their games and expansions out of their advertising. Except for the Soul of Cinder from DS3.

My prediction: The game will have two major areas, the “top part” and the “lower part”. Messmer will be the main boss of the “top part” of the map, Miquella will be the main boss of the lower part. In order to progress further into the DLC Messmer will be the stop gap. Messmer’s role actually won’t be as significant as the trailer makes it out to be, sure he will be a major character and one of the main bosses but will likely be a “barrier” or “guard” for the major content. Basically the first Zone’s big bad is Messmer but he isn’t the end all be all of the DLC.

This expansion is going to offer a good amount of content! Officially it’s stated to take around 30 hours to complete but Miyazaki is being modest most likely! I’d say by the time I spend exploring every inch of this new world, read items, discover npc’s plus their quest, the hours spent fighting the bosses etc will probably mean anywhere around 50-70 hours for the 1st play through!

We also already know how the game plays at its core, so there isn't really much to gain by showing us more gameplay than we've already seen. Leveling is not important, i collected all of the armors and trinkets, and doubles of most weapons. After that its Arts. Basically collect everything and get whatever is left until release.
