this is awesome! how is the damage so high? i get that upgrades are the most effective part of getting more damage but i would still expect for this to be about as half of what i am used to seeing regular builds output since there is not much scaling with stats

A good deal of it is talismans. Because I don't need to worry about building defensively I can be a glass cannon. But the biggest contributor is enemy weaknesses. I'll talk about it in the RL1 guide but targeting enemy weaknesses is very important to optimise damage.
