Some viewers probably will say "lol, they just added 2 spells, they won't do such a big difference, clickbait title rofl" but no, Gravitational Missile actually changes everything. My old Gravity Sorcery videos were kind of a pain to record and except of Meteorite of Astel kind of boring, but Gravitational Missile opens up SO MANY options and possibilities to just be strong and dominant, it is a whole different feeling and the winrate even against 3 players is very high. Spinning Gravity Thrust rounds this build perfectly, I love this ash of war! Blades of Stone has potential but you will see in this video that it is very random where the spell hits, even with target lock.

I dabbled in it a bit and while it does wonders in indoor areas, larger rooms it takes a bit of finessle, since the spells are easily dodgable if you have clear sight of em

Only gravitational missile is useful. I tried to imitate the build and see how behaves. the rest of the spells are almost useless. zero tracking. A few Dodges and you avoid everything. You can't avoid that Gravitational Missile Nuke if you're nearby and fire in the right timing. But this only applies to invasions, when chaos reigns. In duels it doesn't do much.

@@polpettaioIf you didn't get use out of blades of stone, then you might not have been using it as a mixup for gravitational missile. They're almost a frame perfect mixup, so if they roll early expecting the missile then they eat the blades.

I hope blades of stone gets patched to be better. Giving it better tracking/allowing casting of it under the caster/making it less janky and random would be amazing. Blades of stone on paper looks like it would be good, but right now is just so hard to get to do absolutely anything. Hope it gets fixed, because that just sounds like immense fun and would add that tiny sliver more seasoning gravity sorceries need to be incredible.

You are so welcome 🙂 I am happy Gravity Sorcery finally came alive! You ask a good question, I think the top faithbuilds in general are stronger than any sorcery build, but with Gravity Missile and the new Death Sorceries this probably has to be reconsidered!

How do you feel about Spinning Gravity Thrust and Blades of Stone, generally speaking? They both look cool, but in the video they both look like they're getting carried by Gravitational Missile and Collapsing Stars. Also, would you consider Azur's Glintstone staff as a viable offhand to max out your virtual dex cast speed (with icon talisman) giving you more defensive agility or is the damage just too much to pass up not to use Meteorite Staff?

I believe SPT could do higher damage with more points in str invested. Azur's could work well as well, but also costs pretty much more FP. In some situations higher casting speed will save you I guess.

Don't sleep on flame skewer the L2 into R2 fire slap is so fun and it gets +10% with the fire knight commander helmet Also the flaming spear has infinite poise if charged very fun to suprise ppl

I've tried it a bit, and I can safely tell you to eliminate all other spells except Gravitational Missile. Add Carrian slicer, piercer and gratesword and you're perfect. Unfortunately in gravity spells there isn't anything with good speed casting to justify its use. obviously, as an invader, you have to choose the playing field with care. limited areas where you can manage the conflict when you are in the minority. if I stay in 1vs1 I usually duel with more respect for the opponent 🤣🤣🤣

Nah, this is terrible advice to be giving. Gravity missile is strongest when paired with other spells that share its animation, like collapsing stars (which is also just amazing for ledge kills in invasions). Slicer and piercer are absolutely staples that should be on most builds, but he's here to showcase the gravity spells & ashes. Let the man cook.

My complaint with the spell is the name. Its no missile. Its a bomb. Even in pve its great. Deals a lot of stance damage.

The Carian Regal Scepter is good to squeeze the last FP out of the bar if Lusat's is to expensive, since spells cost a lot more to cast with Lusat's. It is also good for mindless spamming (less FP cost = more spam, which indeed could be the right move in some scenarios).

They do work in a 1v1 scenario. You can delay the missile at short distance so it is not always predictable.

I only cast with my left hand, I hold the Meteor Staff in the right hand to get the passive bonus damage. This I do with almost every build.

If you consider taking 30% extra damage a better version go for it, I wouldn't survive long against 3 people (which is the kind of invasions I look for). There sure is some use for it but I don't think PvP is the right thing.

They basically nerfed tf out of Faith with the gutting of defensive buffs and the 1.10 hyperarmor changes (heard 60% negation on hyperarmor), and then they gave mage a better "get off me" than Wrath of Gold with the Gravitational Missile sorcery. 😂 Only thing faith truly has over mage rn is the new standing insta-heal.

As someone who runs a lot of faith builds really loving them too I don't agree, I think the new spells for magic are really positive. Just imagine gravity without the new 2 spells. Meteorite and Gravity well being minor versions of 2 other spells and then the very bad Rock Sling. Gravity is finally fun now with the new spells.
