I just found a talisman that makes my twohanding do more damage by a lot .I got +3 crimson amber talisman I be a lot of complainers have not even found that. I just got a new hammer to use with my new two hander talisman. New armor that gives great protection well being lighter then bull goat armor. COME ON PEOPLE do better

Anyway I knew the dlc was gonna be hard bc it’s always like that with Souls, so I never went in NG+ lol not a fan of ng+ on such a huge game like ER anyway, I simply chose to spend my time getting everything and exploring every corner and then just waited, plenty of other great games kept me busy until now.

They are Mequella’s 😂 WARNING BEFORE ENTERING THE SHADOW KEEP ENTRANCE: If you are doing the NPC side quests make sure you complete whatever current task you get from them and exhaust their dialog. Entering the keep triggers a world state change and will move your NPCs into their 2nd act

I doubt the blessings stack beyond 20. You'll either keep the 20 without it increasing anything more or you'll have to reget them. If I'm wrong, that's interesting. But I will need to see proof.

Yes max Scadu blessing is 20, and max revered ashes is 10. Getting more does not stack they just sit in your inventory like golden seeds/sacred tears when maxed

Im also on NG+ , I like to cap at level 150. It's hard but I'm enjoying it a lot. I still find I'm powerful against basic enemies. Probably I'm going to struggle with bosses though. Only done one and I was dying very quickly before I beat it

Bloodloss build, uchigatana on both hands, bloodhound step, mimic, and Bloodflame incantation helped me get through a lot of bosses. Also anything that inflicts rot or Death was helpful. You can make this game as hard as you want or as easy as you want. I got a life to live so I made it easy

I'm level 607, I'm on ng9+, it's safe to say I've played a lot of Elden ring. Most of the bosses were a pretty solid challenge, even for a soulslike. But Messmer and Consort Radahn straight kicked my shit in. Probably 120+ tries on Radahn (ng7+ difficulty ended up being a big regret). Don't give up guys. The shit is just hard lol.

I entered the DLC on NG+4 🙄. You can get to the Cerulean Coast map fragment through the Dragon Pit cave and behind the huge dead dragon at the Grand Altar of Dragon Communion

10:38 there are mausoleum coffins throughout the Shadow Realm to duplicate remembrance in the DLC. Instead of being a giant walking mausoleum… it’s just the little coffin with the shape of a person on top sitting out in the open. I know there are a handful but the one that I found was behind the building we meet Ymir in (Cathedral of Manus Metyr). I used all my mausoleum in base game so I’m glad they added addition ones in the dlc.

I stopped playing over a year ago to catch up on other titles in Dark Souls (had a blast), then found Skyrim, etc., and now back for the DLC - only to see I forgot everything. 😂 But even I’ve been able to beat a few bosses, got the Solitude Set with the KMart brand Moonveil (with 0 range!), got Yoda as a spirit summon, started carving up dragons and Ancient Dragon dude…it’s not impossible as the video made it sound (and I read the pinned comment). If you’re NG+7 or whatever: come on in, the water’s fine. It’s a soulsborne game. It’s never been easy. This ain’t Nintendo (no offense, I’m a huge fan of theirs too). But collect all 50 pieces of the scabby tree before you decide to toss out your NG7 file out of fear. FromSoft wouldn’t burn their old-time customers like that.

When you get to the DLC, you will know if you are ready if you can beat the guy with the ring blades as soon as you walk out of the cave. I think that was the test . If you are lvl 100 that guy is going to take 5 mins to beat or 1 hit you. 😂

On NG+3 and so far it's a bit more difficult that the base game (which was already the easiest Fromsoft Soulsborne) but nothing major. DS3 was my favorite Soulsborne, but I think this dlc might have put Elden Ring on top.

They should make that if you played on ng+ before the uptade and went into the dlc for the first time it should count as the first journey so if you finish the game on ng+1 you would finish dlc on journey 1 and when you start ng+2 you would be in ng+1 on dlc...

You forgot to mention to not to go near the Shadow Keep without progressing some of the NPC quest or you will be lock out of some of them and missed your chance on getting some goodies...like the Black Syrup.

I was actually doing fine until the final boss. I went through the entire dlc with my ultra great sword build, beat all the bosses up to the final. Including optionals. I can’t beat the final boss. I’m going to have to use a different build to do so because the ugs is just not mobile enough. And I really wanted to finish the dlc as Guts the godslayer…

You missed a fragment, an easy one right, at the beginning. Just east of the first burnt town there is a guy holding a pot that is sparkling and will drop a fragment when he is killed

There’s an enemy not too far from the first site of grace, a little northwest, carrying a pot. Killing it will grant you another Scadutree fragment.

Scadu fragment do not stack past 20 so if ya get more in next game they store themselves you cant get higher than scadue level 20.

The scaudtree fragments make your level almost irrelevant. The % increase to damage reduction and damage you deal from those fragments does more than your level could do.

I'm 217 on my original save never ng+. I'm getting clapped by the bore guy, the hand boss, basically every boss. I'm not even getting close on them though. It's not fun when you do nothing damage so it's a marathon fight. I hate that. I wish leveling up still mattered like the original game ia as much on top of the fragments. If I got to level 300 I still wouldn't do any more damage in SOTE. I don't feel my character getting any stronger. They need to stop nerfiing us and boosting the enemies.
