Happy to see this series back! Here’s a tip I found: using the Mohg/Margit’s shackle near a sealed spirit spring can unseal it because the stone we need to hit is affected by the shackles’ shockwave.

Same with the buckets/pots hanging up around the place with bell bearings inside, the shackles knock them down

Always go to the finger areas at night, when all the worms are sleeping. You can ride right by them and they won’t even wake up and mess with you.

Another thing to note about the furnace giants, if you don’t get the critical after you topple them, they stay down for a LONG time, I usually just kept smacking at the face until it died instead of getting the crit and all of them went down in one topple

i noticed a hanging pot when going down through the ravine right at the big waterfall where there's a big long stone across the water, shot it and it dropped a bell baring that let the twin maidens sell red and white mushrooms. not all that great and i haven't found any more but also haven't heard anyone mention it

In the abyssal woods I was stoked to have a chance to use all the invisibility things in game and go sekiro on all the hornsent. Now I have a reason to go back and hunt some eyeballs down.

So there’s a dog that breaks its normal pattern to chase leaves at the beginning of the game. Southeast of the Cliffroad Terminus SoG (patrolling with the Bloodfiend on the hill where the pest brood NPC is). Just watch it walk around and eventually you’ll see it playing….

2:22 so 2 things about the interaction between the Golems and the Lava Slimes shown here. For one, this isn't the only place this interaction can occur, as there's another Golem/Blob pairing that does this in the Ruined Forge of Starfall Past. On another note, the Golem shown here has the Golem Fists weapon equipped, which other enemies of this type have while in this specific forge, and it doesn't have anything to do with petting the lava blobs, unfortunately

there are 2 curious squirrels (or springhares as they are officially named in the game) in fort reprimand next to where you find that messmer soldier ashes. these squirrels will turn and look at the player wherever he/she goes, and i'm god damn certain there is some sort of secret to unveil there, but i can't figure it out.

The pest you can heal can also grant you an extra cookbook if moore is still there. Just go talk to moore after healing the pest.

for the fire golems you can also hit it a bunch in the face before getting that crit, I managed 8 charged heavy with Darkmoon Great sword then get the crit and usually one phase them

If you look close at the forager laying down, you'll notice it's holding its arms as one would do when they are very cold. Hence why the Warming stone makes so much sense. Atleast, that's how it clicked for me.

The gloves were made and are remade every time they shoot out their fists... according to the golem spirit ashes its likely these were used by their god as well ^.^

a quick addition to parrying the madness guys that carian retaliation was nerfed pretty hard so consider golden parry or buckler parry

Those Golems are vulnerable to crystal darts. If you want to really twist the story, toss a few while they’re with a pet…. Ya it’s sad, but helpful with the two Golems in the same room.

A tip that I learned is the hanging pots with the bell bearings and the rocks for the sealed spirit spring can be broken with either of Margit or Mogh Shackles from a pretty far distance. Haven't tested how far the radius is so can't confirm if you could Shackles at the spring and break the seal without running around trying to find it even though they aren't really that hard to find or deal with. Also I think those spirit worm things and those rock caterpillar things you find all over the Fissure depths and in the base game around ruins are connected somehow. Something like the rock caterpillars are the animated 'bones' of whatever those spirit worms were. Don't have any proof or lore references just a thought.

If you use wall of thorns it stunlocks the golum do this untill your out of mana then hop on your horse asuming it hasnt allready fallen down switch to your great weapon and finnish it of with the crit i have a short of me doing this they are really easy

Not sure if this a secret but I couldn’t find any answers online really. If you progress and kill the final boss, but Moore is still chillin where he was in this video and you can’t progress his quest line… you can kill the broods and get his armor (it will summon him as an invader)

There's actually a second golem slime interaction in one of the other forges it's in the room with the lava pool in it you'll see the golem there petting the slime in front of it while the other slime in the back starts trying to snipe you

fyi, carian retalliation has the worst parry window of all parries to make up for the fact that it can parry spells/incantations. golden parry is the fastest, but is sometimes too fast. if youre trying to simply parry, or learn parry timing, the buckler parry is best but the basic parry is second best

I kill the first forager brood I came across. Complete muscle memory reaction, I just killed it as fast as I could. It was the one that needed warmth to save it. Once I realized they were the forager brood and I had just killed a cookbook and ruined a questline, I was devastated. Then I realized the cookbooks they give teach you the new damage reduction food and I was super pissed. Wish they would have been more specific in their name or given us a cutscene or something. Christ.

@@kishinasura1989 oh uuuh. I think it is the forge with with the hammer. You take that one out, then jump over the rail next to it to find a ladder, behind you at the top of the ladder is another golden that will drop it. It took a few runs to get it but it lets you shoot a fist at enemies.
