for me it does that big flinch when i hit it and the rest of the health bar is yellow then i rest and i get the runes you just have to get that big flinch while riding your mount then instantly run and rest

Works! I need around 36 flail hits (you can use the ashes of war without mana and it works). I count to around 30 hits, when the last bleed procs, mount up and hit the last attacks with normal R1 attacks and as soon as the tail flinches, I speed up to the grace and sit down. Full runes and the dragon is still alive.

As a heads up, it does not make the kill sound. So soon as it moves. Run to the grace, otherwise you'll only be able to do it once.

Much better early game or slow farm is the giants on the cliff next to storm Vail Its more stimulating and there's 5 giants there so one run gives you 5-7k in pre ng+

Just reach the max lvl which is 713 all your stats will be at 99 you can literally one to two shot all bosses in elden ring an its dlc so just farm those runes an reach that lvl bruh

Definitely a great video. Only problem is after about level 60 this is not worth it as its getting to that point you have to kill it twice per level. Bit definitely great till you can progress a little bit further to get the best rune farming spot before the dlc.

Yeah dude from lvl50+ it's not early game anymore. it's mid game+. It's probably better that there aren't any farms that carry your bloody ass from lvl 1 to 100 easily.

Liked and subscribed, exactly the video I wanted/needed. I've been playing the DLC in NG+ with my OP original char at level 177 and it just feels overly familiar and cheap. The quality of invasions is really lame at that level aswell, so I've decided to rerun with a new char with a completely different build. Hate to say your lvl 177 isnt strong enough to one shot any boss in elden ring much less the dlc so get that ass to max lvl of 713 all your stats will be 99 an you will one shot if not two shot all bosses including the dlc ones

I use the dragon farm with a combination of Night Maidens Mist and any weopon that procs bleed. Just get the dragons hp down enough to finish with NMM. Best part: you dont have to be near when you cast the spell. Usually takes me 3 casts and on the 3rd, i run back to the site of grace until i see the tail switch, then rest and repeat

I followed the dragon tutorial using “scavengers curved sword” which has a blood loss buildup effect of 45, worked for me and got 67000 runes for like 5 minutes. Very cool guide thank you

I can't believe this actually works. Thank you for the video. It does become little bit stale and boring but I get 85k per run with everything applied together. Btw I don't think you need exactly 18 dex because I have lower than that, as long as he bleeds out and flinch it works either way for me. Finally I can stop looking for Night Cavalry bosses to fight for 40k each. 10/10 video

9:04 if ur playing playstation Hold triangle then press R1 to two hand weapons (bonus note) When two handing certain weapons you actually gain a 50% strength boost for that weapon so you can meet strength requiremetns for certain weapons like Bloodbounds fang Golden Halberd Greatsword which are weapons you can get in the early game which scale great with strength and maybe a little dex as well,

I think you can do Lenne's Rise a lot faster than 25s per ball? Lol. Simply open map and fast travel back to Lenne's Rise grace as soon as you hear the second "chime" noise (this is the runes being tallied I believe), rather than riding back up and interacting with the grace. Also, the spinning flail doesn't work for me on dragon? Anyone else dealt with/heard of this?

OR do VARRE’s quest and head to the mohgwyn palace and do the classic albanauric rune farming spot, it’s still around 50-60k runes per reset on a new game and takes a total of 10 seconds with certain weapons

Spinning chain: 16 hits first bleed, 24 hits second bleed, and 36 hits for rest bleed. If you count your hits on last sliver of health the dragon has, stop 1 hit from last bleed. eat gold pickle foul foot and call torrent then hit once, rush back to grace then immediately back out of it, hop on torrent and rush back. You'll get 2 dragon kills per gold pickled foul foot

As I saw the flinch I hopped on my mount, ran towards the grace and used it but didnt get the runes. After that I did the same thing a gain but waited for like half a second more used the grace and got the runes but the dragon was still dead 😭. But its okay I'll just play without this farm, its too op anyway.

I've been under the impression that the gold scarab was harder to obtain than it is (I've obtained it a few times over the hundreds of builds I've deleted before finishing the game). I need to start a new faith build & attempt to get a hold of it before killing the dragon. I was a little bummed yesterday to discover that gold pickled foul foots & the gold scarab have no effect on the amount of runes you get from consuming golden runes. I've been saving them up for no reason.

There's a better way to kill the dragon without having to run back so quickly to the spot as fast as you can so what you do is you kill the dragon in the water swamp area and you trade in its dragonheart for the rotten roar and you make sure you're able to get your arcane up to 12 and your face up to at least 15 cuz there's a particular finger talisman you can get ahold of at the round table going by that after you've leveled up your arcane to 12 and your face up to 15 and you should be good to go after getting the seal or talisman or whatever the hell it's called and what you do is you'll get the dragon halfway down the hill where there's barely a little more of its health left and then you use the rod and dragons or to finish it off that way you can take your time getting back to the side of Grace watch in the distance as it dies and makes it way more easier for you to reform the dragon and yes I understand there's a lot of steps to that process but believe me once you killed the Black Knight that's near the side of Grace for you can do the boulder farming thing kill himbuy glitching him to basically fall over the other side of the bridge and that should be enough room to get your faith and arcane up to 15 and 12
