If anyone on Xbox is having trouble starting it because of the 'add-on doesn't need to be installed' thing that won't let you install the add-on, just scroll down the Elden ring loading screen to where it says 'Microsoft store' and click on that and it'll bring you to the dic add-on and this time it'll actually give u the option to install it from that point

GUYS. Launch game. Click microsoft store in menu. Click install even if you already own it and it says doesnt need to be installed. Its 18 gigs and on xbox the download icon/thumbnail is just blank.... Hope it works fellas

To those of you who are wondering why you can't access the DLC yet, it is because it is not out until 3pm PST west coast time. steam has updated their unlock time under the DLC page. Also if you check the DLC section, youll see a map that shows the different times that it comes out in different regions. I believe the console time is 9pm, and PC is 3pm (2.5 hours from now).

I bought the dlc when I started Elden Ring. I was going to do the dlc after Godfrey and I didn’t realize that I didn’t actually download the dlc, I had only bought it, so now I need to wait 6 hours for it to download.

Bro im on Xbox, new zealand region, defeated mogh and radahn, got the update and the npc still isnt there for me? UPDATE: Had to redownload the Add On and now it works. There should be 2 new downloads for you in your libary. You need them both. Also set your console location to New Zealand.

Check when the official release is for your time zone it releases at different times depending on your region. I got the update at 1pm but the dlc actually launches at 6pm for me hope this helped :)

Double check your dlc store page if the NPC isn’t there. It unlocks earlier for earlier time zones. Mine doesn’t unlock for another 2 hours, even though the game itself updated.

the ps5 version has an update bug. try redownloading the game. I had to redownload the whole game for update 1.12 to register properly. Also this is the NZ version which is early. The DLC will unlock on 21st in your region at 12 am of 21st.

If anyone's dlc doesn't work on PC, close the game, restart steam (make sure you shutdown not just close it), the dlc will automatically starting to download

​@@Nexysaur Yeah, what I literally had to do was go NG+, kill Mohg, kill Radahn, and boom, I was able to get in. If you want to skip going through all the pain again, just use CE. :)

I thought I downloaded everything I needed to before I started I ng+. Hadn’t beat Mohg or Rahdan couldn’t even SEE the download on the Microsoft screen until after I beat these dudes (for a second time). It depends on your time zone for example the people in New Zealand gets it before people in USA so set your time to New Zealand and restart your Xbox and download it again

I I beat mohg and redahn some time ago and left my character at the mohg boss arena so that when the DLC launched i can eneter right away. I downloaded the DLC and logged into the game and there is no new character there nor can I do shit. Do I have to play throught the game again?!?!
