I play the game unpatched. For the longest time I couldn't pull it off : ( I gave up... Then I heard that players could have enemies dehorse you, and if you quit right when that happens, the effect is the same. And I eventually got it to work just this morning. Thanks boss you're the best!

Glad to see people are able to get a similar version of the PC Quit Menu method working for a "Flying" Torrent. I've made two videos on how to get Torrent to "fly" by "killing" him after driving him off a cliff, but some people still can't get it done when I show them step by step. I pinned a comment on there linking to your video to try your method, so maybe they can get it to work. Was sick of all the comments saying "Flying" Torrent is patched or it doesn't work, just because they couldn't do it.

Also thought I might add that you should try wearing really light armour and walking while on your horse for the first step. I was able to exit the game perfectly but it still wouldn't work (I was standing still on torrent and had really heavy armour) but when I changed clothes and started walking with torrent I got it on the first try

You don't need to be wearing light armor for the glitch to work. I have a video showing an alternate method of "killing" Torrent by driving him off a cliff while wearing Heavy Armor and a Greatshield, and it still works. Usually the issue people run into is when they resummon Torrent, they are not on uneven terrain in elevation, and I've found that it works best when you are moving up in elevation when summoning Torrent.

@@MaicoWin I never said you NEED to wear light armor, I just said to try it with lighter armor because that's what helped me. Literally sat here for over 30 minutes trying to do this and it didn't work at all, i changed armor and walked forward while on torrent and it worked first try. Was just telling others what helped me just in case it might help someone else whose also been struggling for ages like the other person that responded to my original comment.

You can use this to get into morgotts arena, touch the thorn wall, then rest at the bonfire before you fight him. Then walk through the fog to trigger him, quit out, and warp to the grace in his boss room. He will only do 1 attack, the explosion when he transitions to phase 2. Then you get the rold medallion, and can walk around the outside of leyndal with this glitch again to skip straight to rold

how do you have the Quit game menu as the first thing in the system instead of the game options.

You have to have your menu up in your screen like in the video. Then go into setting and go to quit then exit from the quit menu. As long as you don’t exit out of the start menu it will save the exit game as the first option if that makes sense.

Yes, if you did it resets. You can jump to get out of it as well. Once you go off a ledge again you will get back into it.

Make sure you do it over a kill box, not a height death. Like if you chuck him into the ocean or void, great. If you dump him down a cliff into liurnia lake, it won't work even though he still dies the same way.

It takes some practice to get the hand of it. Will he not walk in the air for you at all?

@@watts761 on the step- once Torrent dies, I turn around I re summon him using a flask (he disappears as mentioned in video), once you summon him again the final time he won’t walk on air. This final part of the glitch just seems to be hit or miss. I have gotten it to work 3 out of 25 times. It fails almost always at the last step. Unless I’m screwing up somewhere along the way haha

@@tgohvenom6259 he spawns mostly on the right side of you. Try and have your right foot more off the edge then your left one so when he spawns in he won't push you off (still happen now and then). Worst case is he spawns next to you or in front of you and sometimes if your footing and positioning isn't right he'll still knock you off

Try it with only one foot off the edge instead of both feet. Try it in the place I do it as well. Some places are better than others. Rocky cliffs seem to be harder to do it on.

@@iiTzJ3RM Awe yes. That is a tricky spot you have to keep doing until you find the right spot you wont fall off. You can try just barely inching off the ledge with just one foot and see if that works.

The few times I've gotten him to fall I've been standing at a slightly right turned angle with more of 1 foot off then the other. Still trying trying to get it done consistently tho to confirm it

If you got to Agheel lake for PVP that is one of the best spots to not encounter glitchers. No where to glitch to in that area.

Yeah I'm on my 6th play through ready for 7th and lv 415. So I as you can see I didn't need to try it for exp but for seeing if I can find hidden areas that I have always missed or if I can find secrets that no one knows about either 😔 looks like I will have to keep trying the normal way now
