Can you list all the quests that are affected by defeating the final boss of Castle Ensis?

Only Hornsents quest is missed if you complete the castle, since his quests requires you to summon him for the fight, every quest advances to 2nd phase though, as soon as you get the first site of grace for the Shadow castle, it says something like "your great rune has been broken" There's a place called chapel of bud or something, and I read if you interact with something there it advanced the game time and NPCs and can end all NPCs quests and they disappear, not sure how accurate my info is, but I'm deff not risking having to start NG+3 lol

Thanks for the tip. I tested it with blood and scarlet rot arrows and sadly even the multi hit combo doesn’t proc them very well :(

Thanks couldn't even find a wiki article about this crossbow. You don't need to beat the boss of that castle because I've never even been to it. I'm not sure how I got to the dragon area but it was fairly early.on exploring I just ran right past them into that tunnel

you dont need to beat rellanna for this. You can skip castle enis by taking the spirit spring next to elders hovel

Every time I use the ash of war it just swings the crossbow and doesn't let me fire not sure how to actually use the ash of war on it.

I figured it out If you have a mod that changes your move set for some weapons then you cant use most dlc ashes of war and heavy attack's

i have killed some guard enemies and they drop normal bolts, that’s not to say there aren’t any new ones but it’s not looking promising

normal bolt, if you want use AoW/ shoot a lot. EQUIP IT WITH RIGHT HAND OR BOTH HAND and press aow button to use it. (THE LEFT HAND CANT USE AOW)
