Is that actually true though? Around 14:00 when you're going through the camp, wouldn't that trigger the first questline advancement? I'm not sure where the exact point is while you approach the keep because I triggered it somewhere else entirely.

That first knight isn't a guarantee shield drop. He dropped his hammer for me.

Think the drop was changed from the build the reviewers got a week before. The shield is dropped by another knight later in the Fog Rift Fort.

One thing to note (for those that are interested), you can break the ghost stones covering spirit springs with a shackle (either Margit's or Mohg's work). In case you are wandering around and can't seem to find the ones to break.

Finally!! Someone uses markers!! So many people throw these videos up without giving you a couple seconds to see where exactly they are on the map at any given point lol. Stuff is really hard to follow. Another reason your content keeps getting better.

8:28 If you're going to grab the Swift Spear, you may as well keep going along that path (don't make a left) to the Pillar Path Cross and grab the Scadutree Fragment there. Plus Thiollier and a Site of Grace are also there.

Magma Blade and Talisman of the Dread is my go to build if a boss annoys me too much. And always #1 choice vs Tree Spirits aswell :D

This is a very spicy video cant wait to follow along later. So detailed and helpful cant believe there was a shortcut around Rellana to get to that area. I miss so many Scadutree and weapons. Been using the Curse blade, I beat the armor set off that guy wasnt an easy task. Loving this DLC cant wait to get wreck by the new enemies until i figure out a strategy to beat or cheese them lololol.

Killed Dancing Lion and Rellana at level 6 Scadutree level, and I’m now annoyed I haven’t tried finding and the other levelling items, I’ve found Messmer and other end game bosses and everything on one hits me. Thank god you do these videos otherwise I’d be essentially one hitting the DLC 😂

17:20 the pronunciation depends. It most certainly is pronounced raUh if it's based on the german word "rauh", which means "rough".

At around the 12:40 mark, you run past a site of grace and miquela's cross just to the northeast. Dryleaf is there. Edit: You grab it at 15:20, but it speeds the run up if you tag it when you go by initially. Cheers!

I went randomly exploring after the second proper boss and triggered a majour event by accident, now all the NPCs are moving around and I dear I've locked myself out of a load of quest lines! I was in a really random spot in the World too, I wasn't heading anywhere special like a Castle or Monument, I was just in a bunch of trees!

Appreciate these. Want to make sure I say something since you're a "smaller" creator than some of the other Souls creators, and commenting and liking the video will help, but yeah -- I'm a part of a very small Souls community (Square Table Gaming, shameless plug even tho it's not mine, my friends) and a lot of us are like, SUPER spoiler free. For example a few of ours only watched the first trailer and then nothing else. So it's been interesting trying to navigate without spoiling myself TOO hard (for example that a certain character is back, hated that I got spoiled on that, but that wasn't you) but there are other small things I really care about. For example, dragon priestess. So I appreciate these videos not being too super heavy on spoilers.

Which one are you referring to in the video and I should be able to help 😊 but all of the inactive spiritsprings can be activated by smashing the Rock nearby, and they're always REALLY nearby and usually quite obvious

I came into the dlc a little under leveled at 120 and did this, now it’s too easy lol. Probably have to beat a few bosses first to let the blessings catch up. The difference between the first boss when I tried before and now is like night and day. Almost every attack 1 shot me before and now I’m tanking 2 hits with a little hp left. Beat him first try after leveling up my blessings to 8… feels almost too easy now. Edit: beat the 2nd and 3rd bosses today and they were still pretty tough, so I definitely don’t feel I was over powered.

Yes you have to be careful how far you progress! If you break the great rune, that's when things change for the NPCs.

Just finished my first base game run! That was an intense journey! That said, I’m concerned about the difficulty of the dlc… Maliketh almost had me quit the game, sounds he’s a piece of cake compared to the dlc, is it really that hard?

I think people are having issues as they just don't have the right build, as I'm not a speedrunner or a 0-hit runner and I am ploughing through some of these bosses. I will be uploading my build guide tomorrow so that might help 😁

You have to go to Mohgwyn Palace in Mohg’s boss fight room. Interact with Miquella’s cocoon

You need to have defeated Radahn (from Redmane Castle) and then defeat Mohg (in Mohgwyn's Palace), then you can enter the DLC from Mohgs boss arena 😊
