hey, I'm really glad you guys have started doing videos on Elden ring. I know no one is going to see this or care but this channel helped make my childhood back during the Minecraft quickbuilds challenges, fishspider industries, the different worms games days till about binding of Isaac rebirth. You can also get a larval tear killing the bear just south of Waypoint Ruins in Limgrave. Kill the long undead on the 2nd level of the rock formation and the bear will poof in. Kill it for another larval tear.

You actually don't need to beat either Margit or Godrick. You can walk along the cliffs east of the castle to skip it. You need it for the story, yes, but not for reaching the respec place.

Hey I really appreciate the videos and guides you guys release, I do want to say though as someone who has beat the game but now needs to desperately respec due to the recent patch I felt this video was more of guide/introduction on how too and not deserving of the title "All Larval Tear Location Guide" since only 3 were shown heh, HOWEVER you knew about a larval tear I did not and I knew about 8 of them so this is greatly appreciated! Thank you for that, sorry if I come off as rude though by pointing out that the title felt a bit misleading. I was searching for all the locations when I found this xD... I found a Larval tear in Caelid in a Graveyard. If you kill all the weak enemies in that Graveyard a Giant with a Flamesword will spawn and killing him will net you a Larval Tear. I don't remember specifically where it is but there's another potential Larval Tear for people who need more!

Every enemy 'ball' in Nokron gives you a Larval Tear as well. As well as the guy who turns into a bear in Limgrave and the guy who turns into a Troll Caelid? I think? Can't remember exactly.

u dont need to kill Godrick or enter Stormviel Castle at all, theres a path at the end of the broken bridge where the finger reader crone is. go up the hill and follow the path and u would soon be in Liurnia. -so u can kill Rennala sooner

Im not sure how to respec I know I have about 35 strength rn And in battles tend to want to go in and battle so I try to have the heaviest damage weapon and dodge around a lot only reason I keep a distance is became I noticed I run out of stamina a lot when up close and get smacked and die. Glad there's a way to respec, im currently str build and honestly seems like from software either nerfed it, I just don't seem to like it in this game or im not using a good strength weapon (Brick hammer+5). I've always ran str in all the other souls and Bourne games. This time around it seems like bleed is necessary instead of brute strength.

Yeah, I'm using a katana build now. Before the respec I was a str colossal sword user. The reason why I changed is because some of the bosses are so freaking fast that trading damage isn't even worth it (the posture bar really screwed over UGS). Especially when you're fighting the Caelid boss which I won't spoil but trust me, he's so freaking fast that makes the UGS useless against him.

@@supremo5209 Of course early on you can't use it but level up a bit. I'm already level 125 Warrior and I can basically respec myself to mage, dex, faith, or anything really. Early classes isn't really important since you can respec pretty much into anything. The item of respec is a lot I already found like 10 of them (and from what I know is that they're farmable). So don't worry if you're starting class is vagabond, just progress through until you unlock the respec.

I think there's a cost for rebirth other than your Larval Tear. My character starts with Confessor and I was around Lv 150 when I try to use rebirth. As I assign my attributes, my allocated points came up short. Before confirming rebirth, I try to allocated my points back to my previous attributes and I find out that I do came up with several points short.... Maybe 10~20 points short, I think.

It's actually possible and super easy to get to that region without completing Stormhill Castle. In fact, you don't even have to go through the front gate or fight the gate boss.
