@@morbid8110 it's a thing hackers did back in ds3. They'd create a character that is essentially a miniboss encounter. While technically they are hacking, they are generally accepted since they give themselves restrictions and the point is to make themselves fun interesting encounters instead of focusing on themselves winninb.

Haha props to that first guy. On a handful of occasions I've dueled against someone who made a near perfect replica of Kratos on PS and his main weapon of choice is power stancing the magma blade and he'll sometimes pull Radagons hammer out the pocket for the power slam ash.

Not even gonna lie.. I wouldnt complain if 3k HP was the norm and PvE was all adjusted to bring damage up to that level, but then PvP damage could stay as it is now and duels would rely less on broken oneshots

I gotta say as a dual colossal great hammer user it feels pretty bad when 1 moon veil slash does as much damage as my double great hammer jump attack. Sometimes I don’t even one shot people with dual great hammers even though it is so bad in pvp because if I miss it eats half my stamina bar and the recovery time is so long that I will be forced to take atleast one hit if miss. Not to mention the colossal great hammer has about the same range as a dagger. The colossal great hammer doesn’t need that much of a buff to damage, but it definitely needs to not have such a long recovery time because I can’t punish anything as well as having a longer range.

@@binksninja You have no idea what you’re talking about. I’ve been banned twice in DS2 and DS3. When fromsoft detects a cheater, it gives them a warning at the login screen saying your account has irregularities on it and that logging in after the warning will result in a (shadow) ban. Only way to stop this is to delete the irregular player data which means the entire character itself. Once you play legit for a while, you can send an email in to see if they are willing to unban you since you’ll only be allowed to co-op or invade other cheaters. So no, Nothings changed with fromsofts EAC and it’s certainly not a placebo.

Apparently if you use Ash of war after putting them to sleep, you can chain sleep them. I haven't tested it myself and there seems to be a very small window for them to get away.

I've been playing around with the cleanrot spear its a real interesting weapon, the AR isnt super high but its a spear with innate holy damage and an unique heavy attack (two quick thrusts) the weapon art is a strike with a delayed aoe, I think you might be able to stagger into the aoe if you connect with the first hit but im not sure otherwise the big ass aoe seem pretty good for roll catching, I dont really see anyone use it or talk about it, but I think it might be an interesting weapon to check out

@@TheAnxietyDuck Yeah, it's a very useful buff for quick interactions on infused weapons since it buffs all damage where almost everything else buffs a single type of damage. For instance, bloodboil perfume adds 30% damage, but only to physical dmg. Flame Grant Me Strength is 20% but only to physical and fire. Those are your main choices for body buffs.

He rarely loses in these games even if it’s 1vs4. He will include his losses in his videos if it happens though. Back in DS3, there was a group of really good pvp players that occasionally setup cosplay gank squads that could give Chase trouble. Still, he managed to beat them 80% of the time even though it was mostly 1 or 2vs4.

I tried learning to hack DS3 to do exactly this sort of shit; kind-of-balanced miniboss characters with crazy movesets. I fought a Sasuke Uchiha miniboss hacker once, he had a whole spell bar full of cool shit. I remember he had a REALLY GOOD chidori spell, a few black flame attacks, and almighty push. Sadly, breaking the games to this point isn't the hard part - it's getting away with it that takes some genuine programming skills you can't just ctrl+c/v through (considering people don't typically share these sorts of projects)
