An Invasion where I happen upon a phantom who is both invisible and max level, all while im using a dexterity build focused around using unseen blade.

​@@pippin254 normal player's* souls like* I agree, Chase reminds me of my 15 years old self when I was cracked playing a free to play first person shooter game called Crossfire, and I pulled off impossible things like glitching out of the map to infect other cheating players in mutant mode covering themselves with soldier players to avoid getting infected while everyone was failing at trying to get him, it was when it was patched and you die if you were out of bounds, I managed to glitch myself inside the map using corners of platforms to infect the last remaining player and then I died of out of bounds damage, or when I killed a speed cheater hacker, or when I safe jumped with 5 hp to plant a bomb in ghost mode and if I don't do it perfectly I would have died (very risky) or my best grenade when I killed 3 players with a single nade in a clan match in ghost mode as a soldier, people usually kicked me from matches because they thought I was cheating, the reality was that I had been playing the game since 11-15 years all non stop and I was cracked at it on top of been in my all time highest skill/best reaction times I have ever been, good times, been this good at anything in life is literal life fuel (I wish I was at that level right now as I used to be before), it makes one smile and be very happy. Even if someone new comes to this channel and sees Chase for the first time, they can clearly see that he has mastered souls like games, he changes weapons and strategies on the fly, guy is completely cracked at these kind of games, he has my deepest respect as a player and as a content creator.

I haven't been around long enough to see them, but I went to watch one where the guy couldn't die and had infinite stamina. Chase managed to one shot him with a backstab so his cheat couldn't auto res him during the animation, he then said several profanities that you wouldn't hear much from him nowadays lol.

if you have invisible phantom -> use the red finger to warp 1x. After that he should be visible, but most often the now visible phantom still stays super laggy

Nice compilation of fun clips! Nice job on beating de-sync man without fingering! Crazy coincidence that he was max level. I’ve been having a bit of fun lately on a quality arcane build. The idea is using asymmetric off hand weapons that have true, pseudo or roll catch combos. I decided I’d ban Halberd offstoc though. Plenty of options, but my favourite so far is Naginata with off Dismounter. Although I guess any CGS would do. I have Bloody Slash on the Dismounter, got inspired by the guy that blasted you with it the other day. Perhaps that’s something you’d like to explore? I’d like to see the concept in the hands of an expert.

If you're in lock on range, the concealing veil does nothing. So that first guy was just desynced as you noticed. You can always use a phantom finger to resync, assuming the game doesn't disconnect you instead.

He's only invisible to you. This is a problem that carried over from Dark Souls 3(you should know). Sometimes phantoms just don't load in correctly, and you just can't see them. Sometimes two players might not be able to interact with each other at all.

Not sure if you done this one before but have you done a Silver Tear Build? I think it would be interesting given the description in game saying “Perhaps, one day, it will be reborn a lord...” Wearing the Silver Tear Mask and using other Nox clothing/weapons and spells. Watching you destroy people in PvP as a Silver Tear would be fantastic!

I was once summoned to help and the invader was invisible and clearly had cheats on, he kept summoning armies of enemies onto us, and he was invincible to the boot. Unfun.

As an aside, the amount of max or near-max level phantoms plaguing the lower meta levels it's getting pretty ridiculous. The scaling system is not nearly punishing enough for the level difference. A character dual wielding GSGS, on full bull goat, medium rolling and also a proficient wizard and casting spells incants that have requirements in the 50s and 60s of int and fai respectively it's preposterous in PvP. Chase manages because he's a pretty out there elite skills outlier, but 99% of us have no actual chance unless by chance that player makes a really dumb mistake. IMO, for every 100 levels difference between phantom and host, phantom should take -5 to every stat. So in a case of 730 helping a 130, they'd get all stats reduced by 30. They still be very OP, but not outlandishly so.

Yeah tried level 100 mage with somber 7 and half the invasions have over levelled players such that when I spawn in I have to hide and block them in case they get resummoned. Also so many more disconnects when the overlevelled phantoms dies, I had 3 happening in a row, the quit outs that is. Makes me realise how could be 155 dex fth/str hybrid has it.

Ye I’ve had some people be invisible like that (clearly glitch, invisible at close range) but so far I’ve always been able to lock on so I just kill them no frills then get back to the visible folks.
