Hi chase, i'm the Gael you fought at 55:12, seems like sword dance has an hyper armor during the animation or maybe it's a bug because i use the right talismans, usualy my weapon art nearly one shot people and in this case it did nearly to no damage. In any cases it was a pleasure to fight you, hope to see you again at this level wich is my favorite.

Dude I watched that and that is really messed up. It did like 100 damage and it was a full hit too. One of the many reason I don’t play elden ring anymore. Sick of seeing weapons hit, making a hit sound, proc a status effect and deal 0 damage.

@ChaseTheBro 5:00 When you roll in scarlet rot, you get a special debuff that constantly increases your scarlet rot meter, whether in scarlet rot or not. To my knowledge, the only way to get rid of that effect is by using soap. I've not played the game in a while so I don't remember but it's likely that this effect stacks with the normal effect when walking in scarlet rot.

Well your defense only gets higher as you level so once you get to 200-300 especially 300 your defense is much higher

That’s how it’s always been for me. I loved 60-90 pvp in ds3 and it continues to be my favorite range in ER. Damage just gets too high at higher levels to enjoy a fight

@@sethbishop6890 As you level, yes. But the higher level pvp has a chance of 1-2 hit fights than mid and low level. Defense can go as high as it wants, but it really means nothing as the damage is inarguably too high to keep up. The current state makes Bloodborne’s damage in pvp look balanced

When you were fighting the Melina NPC, she can drop these healing tree AoE's to support the host (and maybe the invader too?) With some healing as long as you stand near it. What's really cool, when she is defeated, she uses the last bit of her strength to drop one more before she fades away.

Im not sure if many of you guys know about this, but i just found out that if you're using the quickstep ash of war while locked onto something you can perform a backstep attack that deals ridiculous damage as a kind of counter move... atm i think you gotta be a certain distance from.the enemy and you need to move forwards while pressing the light attack button.

Im enjoying the level 60 invasions as well, for the channel i think it produces great quality content. Glad to see it spread. I did a level 22 dex samurai start class, soreal, just level vig. It keeps it balanced and keep a dex knot to even the score for overleveled phantoms. Level 37 intellegenceis great as well. You will get activity levels here and see some fun encounters. Lots of ganks at these levels even thought theyre lower. I love level 60 though and i’m really really enjoying the stream! Great Job! … sidenote level 40 can produce some really mismatched invasions thats whybi go 37, im sure 40 is possible but more probable super overleved phantoms that drag on games, kinda exausting.

I wish i could still get invaded playing solo. i have never been invaded once and i miss it. i loved getting invaded even though i love single player and the story as well, getting invaded has always been a part for me and now i feel like i'm constantly playing alone because i never get invaded. i do duel at the academy but i want to be invaded all over the map but it never happens since i play solo and have no one else to play with.

Level 80 I go 15/6 and got constant invasions before the update and now it's none stop. I'm on Xbox though so it may vary by platform I know oroboro has his set to I think 17/7 up to 90.

the kick might still work they may have just have let you resist untill poise broken. hoping it does poise damage and no actual damage it might just be a case of commit to the bit. the shear panic in their movements was gold in ds3. made for some quality quit outs as well.

Also i found way more invasions after i lit up all the gracepoints at the catacombs/caves around atlas plateau/caelid/liurnia areas… at level 60. You don’t have to light the grace points, but u might as well when your there… this will increase your invasions. I wasn’t able to invade certain areas until i traveled to them. Wish it was like that, but greatful for what we got at this point…

@@OD91MJ You can get dirty with poison like in DS2, in that situation the build up goes up even if you come out of the swamp, the soap is used to wash the poison off you

I was gonna make a joke @2:54:50 about radahn dying as easily as the actual boss and I beat radahn like day 2? I didnt even know he was nerfed. The meteor was super OP for sure, it killed me on first try, but once I avoided it and then just went off and put myself inside his donkeys butt, I pretty much destroyed him. Didnt use any summons either, just 1v1, harder phase was phase 1 imo.

I usually think vigors useless in elden ring personally....in pve I never level up vigor pass 20 (which is enough to take 2 hits through like half the game) and also even with 60 vigor most of the later game bosses/enemies basically 1 or 2 shot ya anyway.....so why waist points in vigor when ya still basically get one tapped ...I personally prefer dmg over health.....and in pvp I think 60 vigor is a bit 2 high and waste of points 45 vigors enough
