When Andrea hit the “What if I don’t wanna walk in your grace anymore?” and the “My lord you’ve left us broken, so shed no grace on me.” It gave me shivers. Her voice is so powerful yet beautiful, it amazingly compliments the structure of the song. I don’t think either parts would work without eachother, the male & female duo with different singing styles gives such amazing contrast that works hand in hand to create a masterpiece.

I like to think it's the difference between the shadow realm and the lands between. Shadow realm the lords and leaders tend to tell or force one to bend the knee While the lands between. Ask no grace be shed upon me is the general understanding individuals boor in each place understand. Hence it would be the players and Mikalas response as Mikala is truly saint Trina a female. And if your getting stuck on personifying my individuality It's simple. Mikala is the god of control. Saint Tina is Mikala. The shadow realm is where they were trying to reach together. Saint Trina abandoning her flesh. Mikala being tainted by moghe and the god of control dieing. As Mikala was the one who binded Marika to prevent her from forcing her golden order upon the lands between. Where we the player then slay her and she then is rebirthed through the roots of the erd tree no longer mindlessly trying to impose her golden order. And Mikala now saint Trina as the outer god of control-s death resulted gradually collapsed of the "lands between" and saint Trina to truly return to being Mikala being bleed by moghe. Blood letting. Basically the shadow realm and the the lands between represent light realms and dark realms. Hence why the image I have for them are maps. Instead of globes. Unlike other settings I try to keep track of within my head.

@@falloutfable1049Im sorry to tell you but the lore you have said is INCREDIBLY incorrect and hard to read. If you want i could type a few paragraphs ACTUALLY explaining what happened.😂❤ What you believe is cool ill give you that, but you cant say false lore like St.trina abandoned Miquella when its the other way around to weave a idea you have. Its just being far fetched and wrong which is usually correlated to those who wanna spread false info to start something. It just feels wrong man 😭
@falloutfable10493 ай бұрын
@@Mizuraka4437 first off. Personal interpretation is not spreading false information. I just seem to have an alternative understanding to how these things work. And yes I would like you to detail in kind exactly what you know or what is expected to be known through pass release. And if you are who I think you are. These "projects" change as time passes... Why would you leave something old unchanged if it's no longer working. I an audience member want more from such stories within stories as saint Trina not having a choice about abandoning Mikala and Mikala did not blame saint Trina for saint Mikala would not allow saint Trina to experience such pain as mogh quite literally impaling Mikala and bleeding him for moghs fallen dynasty. Resulting in Mesmer coming to power and leading an army. Just to add a bit more "PERSONAL INTERPRETATION" it doesn't matter that it is or is not aligning with myasakies and Steven King's story. What does matter and what such individuals will pickup from me "expressing" my own personal interpretation of their works of art. Is just that. What a single audience member is willingly. Openly. Sharing their personal interpretation the things that interest them and what they enjoy/ dislike about their story. I love the individual personafacation each individual has. To call mogh a molesters isn't quite right. For that would be dung eater. No mogh is the blood mother. Much like how milania is the goddess of rot. Personal interpretation of what I imagine in universe characters would think of milania and mogh. Given their very thoughts can effect the world around them slowly but surely. Given they aren't the first nor the only force effecting the lands between. Why do I want to say put that in your pipe and smoke it. When to me I'm just sharing my honest opinion on my personal interpretation with another individual who A. Has a personal interpretation of their own. Or B. Has read Steven King's books on the lands between. (Preferably) Or C. Is myasaki or Steven king (Wich would be acceptable as well as can y'all forgive me for butchering your name amongst other things)
@Mizuraka44373 ай бұрын
@@falloutfable1049 Okay I completely apologize I was wrong in what I thought you were going for. I didn't read the personal interpretation part well enough and thought you believed what you did do to someone else false stating something. Your interpretation is wrong though and doesn't correlate with the lore, but in this instance of the song and us just explaining what it meant to us that's fair. Once again I didn't know you meant this is what OTHER people in the lands between would think. Put more emphasis please and please spell Malenia, mogh, miquella, and St.Trina right. You can have personal interpretation of an art piece but don't butcher names like that when it's been two years bro 😭❤️

This is one of the most badass and stunning choruses you've ever written JT. Hearing Andrea's voice, so angelic yet stark, directly challenging the gods is so goddamn powerful, because she knows that their morals and true power are nothing compared to this old tarnished knight. The shade she throws with "my faith is a fire but the flame hasn't faded before" is such an awesome way to say "You f*cked up," and the confidence of it all feels like you're being told by one of your inner circle that even she thinks you've gone too far. [Intro: Andrea Storm Kaden] Should your cup runneth over, the loss is not of wine Your throne was once so golden, but the tarnish taints us all in time As you revel in your decadent excess, to thy will I bend no knee Do it stand with the damned or the blessed or find some land between [Verse 1: JT Music] Where the boundaries are boundless and the bounties are countless Those with power have found heaven, but it's hell for the helpless When the Elden Ring fell and it showered around us I was held in the grip of death and slipped out of her talons Cause I've countered the balance that made mortality valid I've become an army of one, I could fell a batallion But I'm not overcompensating for anything phallic What I'm lackin' in stature I've been endowed with in talent How was David so gallant in the face of a challenge Like the giant Goliath a mole hill made outta mountain Check the size of my ego, you see how tired my mount is From the day of my birth I have been worthy of crownin' I'm a tarnished masochist and my heart is so calloused Like my palms after the battles that hardened my malice I've gone Mad as a Hatter, don't ask what happened to Alice If you ain't got the taste for torment develop your palate So while you judge me from up in your towering palace Your cup runneth over causing a drought in my chalice So I'll drink up your tears and I'll down 'em in gallons Then devour the gods, I'm not calorie countin' [Chorus: Andrea Storm Kaden] What if I don't wanna walk in your grace anymore My faith is a fire, but the flame hasn't faded before Should your cup runneth over, spare me your sympathy My lord, you left us broken, so shed no grace on me [Verse 2: JT Music] The Tree stands far from where the apple falls When the leaves are gone it's only half as tall Now that the bark is decaying, the trunk is already breaking I see the Garden of Eden has grace far beyond saving Even the stars were obeying, but doubt has planted a seed A question that has been rooted in runes that we can't read Cause if the family tree is rotting the branches are weak We drank it straight from the tap, the tainted sap that it bleeds So no wonder we're tarnished, but not like gods are so polished They said let death be abolished, now I can not be admonished And nothing's stoppin' my cursed fingers from grippin' my fate I can't be sent to my grave, it isn't written that way No, I will not follow orders if chaos follows order I represent the lands between, but I'm crossin' the border I'll rest assured that the gods are not esteemed anymore My lord, now I can see you and I have seen it before [Chorus: Andrea Storm Kaden] What if I don't wanna walk in your grace anymore My faith is a fire, but the flame hasn't faded before Should your cup runneth over, spare me your sympathy My lord, you left us broken, so shed no grace on me [Bridge: Andrea Storm Kaden] Since I watered my garden with doubt Oh, how twisted the limbs that have grown After rot got its roots in the ground See how grim is the reaping we sow [Chorus: Andrea Storm Kaden] What if I don't wanna walk in your grace anymore My faith is a fire, but the flame hasn't faded before Should your cup runneth over, spare me your sympathy My lord, you left us broken, so shed no grace on me

This Song, Rapture Rising, and Daddy's Home are some of my Favorite Songs of All Time. And It Seems that Despite Not Liking games Like Elden Ring and Dark Souls. It would appear that I cannot Escape this Song where ever I go. Therefore. I embrace it. EXCELLENT WORK!

The whole song gives me chills but the frisson effect is highest for me when Andrea sings the high parts in the chorus.

BRO THIS IS A WHOLE THEME SONG! I'm a sucker for a sturdy and full guitar rhythm..and this gracing my eardrums in the background of your vocals is truly a hype train.

JT Music is the only rap artist I actually listen to regularly. Just amazing music and the fact that it's game themed just elevates it for me.

the sheer fact that most of this video footage is rendered inside the game is just stunning, people already appreciate how beautiful the game is, but I don't think it's enough.

This song is that moment in a Souls game when you try to figure out why you're losing, and you just start waxing poetically.

The reason I clicked on this particular video (since I'm not playing most of the popular games I stopped coming here for music cause I can't understand or relate to it) is because today I was looking for a game that would allow me to simply vent. Destroy. Kind of like "Doom". But since neither modern nor old Doom worked for me I figured I'd have look at Elden Ring. I never considered Souls-like games because such encounters do not usually provide a great amount of triumph when overcoming a boss or any obstacle for that matter, but a relief and a realization of the fact that the next obstacle will soon be upon you. I've tried Code Vein but stuck upon a level, not even a boss (the place was just too cramped with enemies to maneuver). But now I came to a conclusion that this sense of temporary relief (which is strangely enough with its structure of not being permanent is very akin to happiness) and constant pressure is exactly what I need. Either in game, or in life. I won't be playing without armor (as some people do), because I do not seek the unrivalled skill in said game, but just the sense and experience, which I would receive in equal measure, because the game is hard enough for me. I thank you for the reminder.

When I first got Elden Ring, I was captured by the setting and looks of the locations, after getting murdered by Margit the Fell Omen, I dropped the game. I'm so glad I picked it back up and beat it, this game really is awesome and this song is nice too, nice work JT ^^
