Ray tracing's demand for graphics processing rarely matches what is delivered to us. We will know that ray tracing really matters, the day we don't have to squint our eyes to make out the difference, or meticulously analyze every detail to find some relevant change.

@@silverbashspam9701 I didn't play it with Path Tracing, just regular Ray Tracing and even then, it looked much more amazing with Ray Tracing On that without it.

I'm having major stuttering like 10 seconds of freezing, when I use a mod to unlock the FPS it gets a lot worse, is there any solution? (my PC is very good) 5800x3d 4070S 32Gb game in M.2 My game is at maximum graphics, motion blur is off, RTX off

Hmm have you tried win+ctrl+shift+b in the game start screen? It resets the graphics driver and I had to do it every time I booted up the game to unlock my fps past 100. Might not be related but it solved some of my issues. No one has seemed to update these fps mods since like 2022

@eightleafgaming I will test it later to see if it solves it, I watched several videos and got some ideas, I will test some mods to see if it solves it too. When I unlock the FPS the stuttering happens every 3 or 4 minutes, and even with it completely original without mods it happens every 10 or 15 minutes. I'm now using LossLess, but I wish I was playing with "real" FPS.

they used Global illumination, GI already have some small ray trace like effect, ray trace shine with good reflection texture and variety of light source. you can try using spell that gives good light at night in a dungeon or with a lot of close objects/wall you'll see the full effect of RT try it in water at night you'll see RT in action
