Fun fact, the frenzy hand ash of war true combos with a R2/Charged R2 -> R2. With the right buffs, that combo alone deals around 1400 hp with the right set up

Love me a madness build. Chase going pure caster is always absolutely diabolical. 😈 Great idea going for the faith/arcane split for the status build up, also lets you benefit more from the use of *SACRED BLOODY FLESH* which, unlike exalted flesh, also affects spell damage. So with that 7% boost it’s better for spellcasting even if you don’t procc the extra bleed buff. Good shit, bro. 👍

You mentioned the perfume, but honestly a full build around the perfumes would be cool to see. The lightning and madness ones scale best in my experience, but the poison one is very handy for being physical, as well as the AoW that near instant poisons anyone. Perfumes have neat movesets, like using the 1 handed attacks for better speed, and 2 handed for AoE, plus the charged attack can be feinted for a pretty wide area while 2 handed.

I have also found that going arcane/faith is optimal for madness builds, and I have been trying to make a build based around quick madness buildup, instead of damage. I have found a bug if you want big damage. Recent update on steam unnerfed the determination AoW applying to off-hand, but it seems to only apply consistently to dragon maw incantation. I would bite the golems ankles in mountain-tops for 3k, and use determination on right hand dagger and the bite (unstaggered golem btw) would do close to 10k afterwards. Tested this repeatedly stacking as many buffs as possible. max buffs 33k without determination, 84k with determination. Didnt work with any other incantation. Wouldnt mind seeing that damage in pvp
