Speaking of Samurai weapons, I've been getting back into Rellana's Cameo recently, and it's kinda amazing what sort of damage that waiting a half second on Overhead Stance and Unsheathe can do. Never mind Milady with Wing Stance, which I realized does not need to wait again after the R1 version to use a new R1, and gets me repeatedly killed trying to greed chain L2-R1s.

It's so fun in pvp too. I run a dex build and always keep the sword as a main weapon for the shield users. The claws of night also pierce shields but it's much less damage, still good enough to chip down in arena fights since they can only heal with incants (if they have them)

Igon’s great bow guy must be chuffed! Here’s something I don’t think you’ve covered much - a shield AoW build. Sword and Board, but with Bash, Crash, Parry and Holy Ground. Especially now that the medium shields got such a guard boost buff. Get that deflect tear going. Catch ya next time!

6:18 honestly it's surprising how far it'll spawn you away from the host in some places. I like being a blue hunter and have no tools to attempt to get closer. Unfortunately I've been summoned into gravesite plains in places that do not help the host at all. I fought as best i could from atop the cliff just north of Thiollier by hurling hefty pots down into the swamp area below because there was no way I'd be able to walk over and help. Happy there are some ranged tools like hefty pots that don't despawn so early
