Giant Golden Arc has a hit-box completely different than it's animation: The projectile the player fires is a single Glintstone Shard-sized missile, and as the main-missile travels it constantly shoots out something like ~25 missiles per second out from the left & right sides. It's pretty wild, and makes the spell far better than it's animation would suggest. That's why it can travel through narrow doorways, as long as the main/real missile in the center doesn't hit an obstruction it will keep traveling along firing more missiles out the sides. Rusty showed the hitboxes in one of his videos, I think the one where he ranked every DLC Spell. ED: Yea I just checked cause I wanted to see it again anyway, Rusty shows how the Spell works in his video "Ranking All 42 Elden Ring DLC Spells From Worst to Best... (Patch 1.12.3)", I'd Link it but I don't want to get Auto-Modded.

The way the Giant Golden Arc works, and why it goes through walls/round corners sometimes is that it has a solid bullet in the middle of the arc and the left and right hitboxes come from that. If the centre bullet hits an object it will disappear, but if the offshoots from that hit something it keeps going. So free aiming it through doorways, past players, or around obstructions will let it hit things it probably shouldn't be able to

Hello Chase! The only strange build I can recommend if it is viable, is what I like to call as ''Holy Sleep''. And it is a build focused on using Sword of Light and and St. Trina's Velvet Sword. I believe now that the best way this could work is if I go with one of the two stats for melee while investing in the other for incantations or spells. If this looks worth experimenting, I would love to see an entry to your series, based on that build idea. Wish you all the success with your channel!

Fun build - those Arcs are super useful for their mixup timing. And I love the frantic stagger on the rings when someone has low poise. Makes me chuckle every time. Have you considered making a faith caster that only uses incantations that do Physical damage? Pest Threads, Crucible stuff, The ROCK etc. I reckon that could be fun. Catch ya next time!

It's not a dlc related issue. It can't be buffed in pvp since ds3 when it was dark damage.

Regarding the broken holy assumption: FS must have fixed the holy incant buffs; as of patch 1.16 on ps5 all relevant talismans seem to do for me what they're supposed to do on Multilayered Ring of Light, Discus of Light, Giant Golden Arc and Golden Arcs - I just checked. Godfrey Icon buffs charged, both canvas talismans increase damage, as does Sacred Scorpion Charm. Gold Mask and off-hand Golden Order Seal buffs Discus, off-hand Dryleaf Seal buffs Multilayered Ring of Light, Sword of Light AoW buffs all of them as does Holy-Shrouding Cracked Tear. And they all stack, am I missing something?
