It was to this land that Miquella departed.
Divesting himself of his flesh, his strength, his lineage.
Of all things Golden.
And now Miquella awaits the return of his promised Lord.
Character Information
Background / Motivation
_An older, classical knight. A Golden Order Fundamentalist who worships the Erdtree.
One of the earliest followers of Miguella. Believing that Miquella would be the future of The Lands Between.
Branded an Heretical Prophet, banished from The Lands Between after a vision where he saw fire and Miquella walking away from the Gorden Order. A vision he never believed could be real.
He continued bringing kindness to those who needed it outside of The Lands Between, just as Miquella would have done. Always hoping that he would one day find his Grace and set his eyes on the Erdtree again.
Now, he finds himself back in The Lands Between in search of answers. No longer recognizing the land where he was born and raised. What has happened to his beloved homeland? What happened to Miquella? Did he really betray the Golden Order as seen in his vision?_

He is very experienced in battle and warfare. He has seen it all. In his time away from The Lands Between he learned to craft and use a great variety of tools, whatever necessary to survive.
Being originally a Golden Order Fundamentalist, Sir Mik is well trained in Incantations and Sorceries.
He acknowledges that, to win a battle, one must to be able and willing to use everything at their disposal.
(With his high Faith and Intelligence, Sir Mik is basically able to use whatever is necessary to win a fight)

Your commentary makes me smile. I also beat the Fire Golem - and now I could make a guide on how to beat it with below average gaming skills (in a real fight!). I struggle with fighting on horseback - so that's out. Raptor of the mists was key for me in approaching the boss and then mainly pest threads / jumps until I could get a critical. Im really enjoying the journey and there's so much more yet to come!

I think the wrapping in cloth may be a funerary custom there, where as Messmer's army destroyed these places, the surviving inhabitants covered them in mourning cloth, perhaps even to "hide" them from sight. After all, their land itself is also hidden under the cloth we can see in the sky.

Pretty sure that the first boss you fought is Gus, from Berserk. The creator died some time ago, I see that as a homage by From Software. After all, it's the set of "Solitude". The armor and the weapons look exactly like his as well.

This dlc isn't hard,it's just poorly optimised. The hit boxes,the boss aggression. The recovery animations and combat are slow as hell. It's no fun either chasing a boss around or rolling about attacking once then repeating. Although I guess you can trivialise the whole thing with the parry lol

To say it isn't hard is disingenuous. Your other points are valid to a degree, but this DLC is the hardest content I believe they have ever crafted. Some fair, some less so.

@BlueLizardJello the difficulty comes from the frustration it creates in some players,myself included. If it were better balanced then fair enough. You saw it yourself fighting the first mini boss. Didn't struggle because it was hard but because the hit boxes and mechanics of the fight were abit wonkey.
