​​​@@linkszxx As if it makes any difference lol. You're still spending a lot of stamina (in fact, blocking takes more stamina than dodging) and endlessly wait in block until it's your turn. And you usually run out of stamina when it's your time to attack lol. Reason I stopped using shields after DS3. You just do more damage two-handed, and conserve your green bar. You become more skilled too.

A hard boss, but a fair one. Once you got the combo strings figured out, there is almost always an opening for 2 hits/one jump attack at the end of each string. Just be patient and of course...panic roll = death with this one😂😂 and if you can parry, enjoy your piece of cake while fighting her

By using so many sorceries Rellana is extremely susceptible to the Golden Retalliantion of the Erdtree Greatshield if you use it well the battle becomes ridiculously easy because you can return almost everything she throws at you.

the thing with rellana is that there are 2 ways to fight her, make your own opening (parry and stagger chains) or attack her while she is attacking you. The backhand blades (found early in the dlc) are really good at countering her with blindspot, but everything is moving so fast that you need a lot of stamina and a Sekiro platinum trophy

One of my favorite bosses so far, went there with the ol reliable longsword and kite shield with defense talisman The entire fight was my character trading hits with her with the occasional dodges and blocks. The joys of NG i guess. And all this costed me somewhere around 2k souls lmao.

Def my favorite fight in the dlc and maybe the game. Took me a while to beat her. scadublessing 2 while 2 handing milady. Did the whole dlc with milady aside from switching to rellana's swords every now and then. I personally dont like using offensive spells, shields, summons etc. but no disrespect to anyone that does, game is great no matter how hard/easy you make it for yourself.

"That took all my health!" Yes, if taking a two hit combo while only having %75 health means "all my health!". Dumping all those points into vigor only matters if you heal all the way up. If you never heal back to full, then only get as much health as the healing flasks heals in one chug, otherwise it's a waste, you could put those points into something else.

I first try her today. Regardless of that, I felt she was pretty challenging (Imagine a Dex user that can’t get stagger) I did use Barrier of Gold, Spelldrake Talisman and dragonbolt of Florrisax which made me almost take no damage from magic attack. But I felt that I got lucky that fight. (No summon or Leda for this)

I never got upset fighting this boss no matter how many times I died, she's just so freaking cool and her swords are dope too like her combos are just pure cinema to me, I felt the same way with Messmer and especially Bayle, like I didnt want to stop fighting Bayle cause he was just that cool, Placidusax doesnt got shit on him and the commentary from Igon was too good, so glad I summoned him like that is one of the few fights where I feel like you SHOULD use the summon, not for DMG or tanking, but because he makes the fight that much better with him shit talking the Dragon xD the only fights(I beat every DLC boss on J10, at Lv 355) that I absolutely hated and got pissed at was fucking Commander Gaius, fuck that guy and his broken ass hitboxes that make his charging move borderline undodgeable not to mention he is just so beefy + has GIGA resist to pretty much everything and so boring to fight compared to literally any of the other bosses cept the Furnace Golems that require you to use the giant fire pot to kill them, fuck them too altho the regular Furnace Golems are fine and I enjoyed those fights

Most of these streamers actually have it easier. I have ng+7 where all boss fights have to be near perfect. All bosses in dlc have a move that can 1 hit kill me even with high dmg reduction and 80 vit and their ordinary attacks kill me with 2 hits max. Even the horn warriors can kill me with 2 hits. Lol.

I don't want to comment in normal case because well i never play a souls game (i just play Sekiro and give up to the first boss) but they two of us i don't name it who get too easily angry (first death they rage serious). Elden ring is you're first Souls? It's not for teasing but it's really for know because i know the DLC is very hard compared to the game. But in all case i be straight, if you don't know how to control you're rage learn how to control it or come back later.
