@@ougo0 Well yeah, when you essentially cheese the game it is lame. There is no boss they could design that wouldn't feel unsatisfying to beat while hiding behind a shield, because the gameplay doesn't involve any mechanics that require literally any skill; just hold one button, press another button every now and then, and learn how to dodge two moves that are extremely telegraphed with longer windups then every other move. The difficulty is on par with Barbie's Horse Adventures, and I'm glad asmon showed how washed up he was needing to crutch on that.

Know your enemy, he is vulnerable to scarlet rot. If you know his history, you know why. Tree sentinel armor negates holy damage, there is a talisman in the shaman village that helps with this fight, talisman inside a tree, negate his holy attacks then shield his physical attacks…wall…use a weapon that inflicts rot, cold, or bleed. Heavy load is ok. Antspur rapier…align it with cold or blood. Poke behind your shield. Stamina is an issue so the two headed turtle talisman is a must. Manage your stamina, proc with rot, blood, cold, and he will fall. You can’t muscle your way through this fight with fancy new weapons. If you get grabbed, there is an item that will dispel this charm. This fight makes you step back and rethink your entire build.

I was able to win with verdigris shield and antspur rapier (blood infusion) in the way you described - just kind of tanked the holy damage and barely got there. I only had a 7 arcane but it was still more viable to do it this way with a big shield and 2-headed turtle talisman than with jump attacks/weapon skills/etc. Had to be really careful with stamina management (because if he knocks your shield aside there is a good chance you are toast)

Honestly, it’s still not even Prime Rahdan. Consort is ‘stronger’ due to literally having a nascent god on his back, but Prime Rahdan would be twice as tall as Consort (not being on Mohg’s body, using his swords from his youth), with strikes that would delete people on contact (broke Malenia’s arm with a single landed hit, which never happens even when we push her into second phase and literal godhood). Prime Rahdan would lose Miquella/holy attacks & bloodflame, but would stand twice as tall, with the same speed & attack patterns as Consort, with attacks that would logically one-shot anyone.

I had to condition myself to dodge (forward)left after realizing that's the safe spot. I always instinctively dodge to the right or back, which caught me too many times. I spent around 15-20 mins dodging left outside the gate until I get rid of that habit. Took me almost 2 hours to beat this guy.

I learned his moves just for him to flashbang me everytime in his second phase which also kills my fps. I've tried to bonk him for one whole day, then I tried the parry thing with a dagger failed again then the next day I used bloodfiend arm and he still kicks my asss. I even used mimic tear and as always I just can't beat his second phase. Even at the lowest settings my fps still dies in the second phase and I can't dodge properly. I think I'm gonna go the asmongold route and become a tank cause this boss flashbangs, aftershocks and kills my fps at the same fkin time. I even beat malenia all on my own in 2 days but this guy man

This boss definitely took me longer than any other boss in Elden Ring. Relanna took me about an hour. Consort Radahn took me about 2 hours… straight shot no pauses. Small alterations on spells and weapons until i found what worked for me. I had a dagger to swap to with bloodhound step to roll out of the attack where he pulls you in and slams and adds the gravity spiked floor and to help avoid his meteor slam when he gets to his last small section of health. Black Flame’s Protection during phase 1 and Lords Divine Fortification helped a lot with the holy damage he gets at phase change. The nuts thing is I got him down to a literal sliver of health within 15 mins. Then struggled hard for about an hour. Then consistently got him to the meteor phase and choked with him at a sliver at least 15 times (no lie). One of the few bosses in Elden Ring you actually need to learn all his moves to be able to beat. So many base game bosses you can just overpower with damage and high DR. Not Radahn and Relanna though.

No other boss in any Fromsoft game has ever made me have to resspec just to beat them. 4 and half hours of smashing my head against the wall and he died in two tries after I pulled out the fingerprint and antspur. Felt like I finished a chore rather than beat a boss, and I was just left utterly baffled by how the DLC could have bosses like Bayle, Messmer, Midra, and Rellana, and then not just drop the ball, but outright just yeet it off the top of Enir Elim with Consort Radahn and another NPC "boss" fight right before him.

Most of the frame rate issues I’ve seen have been on past gen systems (which makes sense, they’re old and not equipped to handle these kinds of games at a higher frame rate) and cheap PC setups (also makes sense, the PC’s performance will match the money you put into it, if you don’t put much in, you won’t get much out).

Ngl I was delusional during this fight cuz I made my Tarnished have all this crazy lore as a failed Redmane who fought under Godfrey once he was kicked from Radahn's army, and I was so in character fucken cursing this guys name. 600 deaths in and I was going full on Igon like "CURSE YOU FOULEST LION OF WAR, I SHALL PROVE TO YOU MY- wait wtf am I talking about, I'm sitting behind a screen, I'm not him"

The only genuine thing that was unfair about this fight was the scissor attack. You either have to frame perfect roll it, or use the backstep charm, and even then its still really hard to avoid.

He has one combo where he does this. He can either go into the full combo (the same one he does in the starscourge boss fight) or he does a delayed swing instead. You have to pay close attention.
