I wonder if something like standees was ever a part of the plan. I have no idea what production costs and stuff look like to make separate versions of the game with just standees or just minis but I feel like the majority of people are here in part because they want those giant miniatures to feel epic and such. But still, it would be cool to have the alternate version for folks who don’t care about minis were just want to save a couple dollars.

Can you place a wall adjacent to another wall? And can the hexagon tiles be rotated in any way you want to place them or is there a specific alignment to them? So glad you did this video. You and Alex have good, level energy making it easy to watch.

Yes you can place a wall next to another wall. And no you cannot rotate the hexes, all of the symbols must be facing the same way if I remember correctly. And thanks for the kind words!

When you asked if you could share / trade and then if you needed to be in the same tile, the designer responded “eh it’s a coop game” This feels like an odd answer. Is that just not figured out yet or can you officially trade between players whenever and wherever?

You can trade wherever. He was saying “it’s a co-op we’re not going to have all these rules around that” so you can trade

@@TheBrothersMurph just feels weird is all! You cannot help a teammate in a combat unless you have a special effigy but you can chuck a chain mail breastplate across the land to the other person. It would feel more thematic if done like in C:DMD except I’m fine with no cost of an action to trade but need to be on the same tile😊

After looking into the core box, I noticed that it includes 8 enemies, 7 advanced enemies, 40+ enemies cards and 60+ boss cards. If one type of enemy has one card dedicated to them, what would add up to 40 if you have any idea regarding this. Sorry for asking a lot lol I can’t find any other place to ask about as ppl are so negative bout the company

Great questions! We aren’t sure to be honest. We were shown what you see here and a bit more but weren’t privy to all the nitty gritty of the design.

Hey, I wonder if a normal enemy will always have the same moveset every turn. If that’s the case, combats may seem to be predictable and repetitive (I still haven’t experienced it tho, it could be way different than what I thought) plus I look in the kickstarter page and found that the enemy cards are quadruple the amount of unique enemy type. Really confusing rn lol do you know a possible answer to whether or not a normal enemy may have more than one moveset

As far as I know, basic enemies do always have the same movements and attacks. But those battles aren’t meant to be long or super varied. The boss battles are the ones that should always feel different. But I suppose if you play the same quest with the same enemies it could start to feel stale

Not going to lie, this board game version looks pretty great and with me having bought dark souls the card game as well as all its expansions, as well as gloomhaven Jotl, I can’t wait for this. I just have one critique, and that is the fact that steamforge expects me to have a gigantic table to play this on lol.

This game does not look exciting or different enough from many, better?, dungeon crawlers out there. Getting to think the market for this type of board game is getting saturated. PS I love the Elden Ring video game and its bonkers lore.
