ongbal inspired me to get gud and when sekiro made me go hollow ongbal vids help me come back and beat it. I’m no where near as good as him but now i’ve beaten all the inner bosses without healing haven’t got no hit yet tho.

At first the gargoyles terrified me and I avoided them as much as possible but after a while they became some of my favorite enemies to fight. They really keep you on your toes which makes for a fun fight and it's very satisfying when you beat one.

The only thing I dislike about any of the gargoyles is the poison they spray in the duo fight. Otherwise they are quite fun to fight

It's always excellent seeing Meteorite of Astel being used to wipe out the Gargoyles. So very satisfying crushing big enemies with all the rocks, and a nice upgrade from Stone of Gurranq.

I think they implemented a functioning vault animation for pretty much any enemy. I've seen wolves, demi humans, soldiers etc autopathing towards you and figuring out correct ledge jumps.

I would love to hear you make a review of this game, mostly because I feel as if a lot of people complain about the combat's "faults" and arent really utilizing the game's actual mechanics and thus missing out on what the game actually has to offer. I feel like someone with your experience would be able to make a really good and accurate review of the game and it would be easy to trust your opinion on it since you have clearly mastered it so much

The vast majority of the game's "faults" are only there if people play it like it's DS3 and/or forget it's an open world game.

I would love to see how he handles Gargoyle duo by leaving them alive with weak weapons. He 100% can do it, but it would be a nice teacher to know which attacks should be punished while maintaining 0 damage. But who am I kidding. Gargoyle and Godskin duo weren’t smartly designed to be a fair duo like the Duo Apes were. People hated the Apes but they were cool, if headless screamed the other Ape would rush you for a combo. If you parried headless and left him on the ground other Ape would jump making you parry and then punish. It was a fight with RULES rather than throwing 2 random enemies in a single arena!

Man, do you watch Proper Bird sometimes? It was like a day or two ago in her blind run, I saw her absolutely crush the first gargoyle with meteorites. Heh. Probably not, just you being a master again. Sometimes though, it feels like you've got a camera installed in my eyeballs with you uploading stuff I saw used the night before by somebody else (with them having done it far less smoothly). Very cool showcase!

I nearly cried fighting the valiant gargoyles… on my second playthrough, they are just infuriating if you can’t kill one of them fast enough. I’d rather try to beat the Bell Gargoyles 10 times in a row than fight these poison-spewing-whirlwind-having-flying-freaking-stoned-b*stards. My apologies. (I srsly almost did cry though)
