I unironically want this version of waterfowl to be in the base game. Yes it looks worse since it's longer, but it's atually a bit slower (especially with the pauses between flurries) and doesn't have the hyperspeed jumps that can only be avoided by not only timing the roll right but also aiming it very precisely. Everything Malenia does in the base game I can handle except waterfowl. Also this version of her doesn't seem to have that wierd thing the basegame version has where some of her attacks seem to alter their parry window timing every time, making it more consistent and feeling a lot like a Sekiro fight.

If the DLC had something like it would be garbage, it would also limit weapon and spell diversity to lame and quick attacks. The player should also be able to feel like a badass too instead of just watching. Which the DLC of BB and DS3 captured greatly.

Surprisingly, this mod seems pretty well designed compared to many others. There are many mods that turn bosses into pure bs just to make them as hard as possible even if they're not fun. This one, instead, tries to make the boss as hard as possible while still being fun for the people good enough to master it. Of course, it's a very fine line, but I think the mod deserves a lot of praise for it

Sometimes i wish fromsoft bosses were like this. At least optional ones that are supposed to be extremely hard. Not to say she isn't normally, but the spectacle in this fight is incredible and the insane difficulty would make defeating her unbelievably rewarding. Maybe they could make her deal less damage so it's not straight up impossible unless you're a god. They could also maybe add something like special weapon and armor just for her that would make defeating her almost trivial, so that if you don't feel like doing the insane challenge you could defeat her without too much trouble

I doubt it, they're too much of a cowards to do that. i hope they prove me wrong tho because i wish this was vanilla malenia rather than what we got.. i wish they stop holding back on the bosses especially optional ones that are supposed to whoop you ass and keep high skill players preoccupied for while even while using every single tool at your disposal.
