For those who might be stuck on the Mohgwyn boss exploit, it had been patched. The devs moved the column over so you can't make the jump however you can still cheese him from that column if you have a bow and a lot of poison and bleed arrows.

Poisons arrow = 1500 damages/ ~=20 arrows (poisons ticks only, arrows does nothing with a +13 bow) and its like 1/30 of his life, and you can only have 99 each on you ... and without the long distance bow and featered arrows you just cant hit him. Couldnt test with bleed ones cause i didnt make them with featers so they fell too short ... i suck at this game ^^

@@chosenvoid3983 This happened to me, got his health down to about 1/3, and he was not getting poisoned anymore. After that I just thought to myself screw it, im going to go in and try to finish him off. I walked through the gate and he didnt move and didnt aggro, I just stood at the entrance and shot him with arrows. I think the cheese outside with the arrows eventually gets to his second phase or something, stopping anymore damge outside the gate for some reason.

This is a great guide for new players and i appreciate it tremendously. My only suggestion is to grab the maps. Brand new players following this guide may have a very hard time trying to figure out locations with everything all hidden. Other than that i think you did an amazing job.

@@dondemonico Yeah, I am going to agree with you on this. I would suggest new players play through the game once and enjoy the progress. This is a great guide for fast leveling alt characters for different builds and testing new builds. The joy playing this game is the suffering and learning. There is no joy, at least IMO from smashing a boss with an OP character, instead of learning it's attack pattern, slowly chipping away at it, knowing, one mistake could be your death. Yes, it can be frustrating at times, but the biggest smile I get is from dancing with death and coming out with a win. But I understand some people just want to play as they want, and if that means no challenge and very little effort, I guess it is their choice. I just feel they're missing out on what the game is about.

Not many people know about this but when the dragon flinches from killing it, you want to quickly hop on your mount, head and rest at the grace point as fast as possible before the dragon disappears. This will “respawn” the dragon but still get the runes. You also won’t get the dragon hearts but can can keep doing this over and over. I’ve gotten to lvl 182 by doing this.

The reason it gabe 55,000 is because the chance of an enemy giving 5x the normal amount of runes, you can see their eyes will have a little golden trail

If you progress through the game at a normal pace you should have areas unlocked with enemies that give more runes. It shouldn't take hours to get to just 25k. Just being in the capital you can make that pretty quickly fighting enemies. So what I'm saying is, if you're still not progressing much as far as the story, but are trying to level up, just continue on. It's much more fun to get the runes that way than doing the same damn thing for hours. If it's your first run of the game, it's gonna be a lot more rewarding and fun if you just play naturally. But then again, everyone plays differently I guess.

I think the Night’s Cavalry exploit may have been patched. The Knight will only follow you 3/4 of the way up the hill no matter how close you stay to him and then runs back to the bridge very quickly.

Using the Margit Shackle: use 20 times at the fog, wait for 10 seconds before entering. Enter. Target Margit. Walk up and use 1 light attack every 10 seconds. Margit’s stagger bar will never fill so wont move until he dies. Takes 3 or 4 minutes but easy fight.

Cool guide! Dragon still works as of 7/15/22. I have a few noob comments that would have helped me. This is all in the video but it was difficult for me to understand at first because I am so new to the game. 1) The Katana is used because it has bleed. The way bleed works is that every so often the katana damage will be 13,000 hp or so instead of a mere 37 hp ; 2) Once the dragon health gets below within a bleed strike (about 13k just pay attention to how much the hp bar goes down on a bleed strike), get on your horse. 3. On your horse, face the head of the dragon. The tail of the dragon will be on your right. It makes it easier to see the final animation and also quicker to get going to grace point; 4 Practice the run, dismount, and rest sequence a few times before you get started. This exploit is very time sensitive. Any flub that costs even a little bit of time will prevent the dragon from respawning. 5. finish the dragon off on your horse so that you have a head start.

Mohg boss fight cheese is still possible even for low lvl. All You need to do is stand on the gravestone you jumped before and just shoot him with normal arrows till he is staggerd, than walk in with bleed dmg weapon and just kill him. He wont move untill You stagger him again. So just keep in mind that invisible stagger bar.

For the Night Cavalry, if you run up and jump on that tree branch extended up over the bridge when your initially riding torwards the NC, you're aggro will pull him beneath you and he will fall off the bridge - use your Scarab + pop a Golden Fowl Foot and it's done :D Awesome guide btw, thank you so much bro

There’s also a glitch with the dragon at the start before you kill him get on your horse kill him and ride as fast as you can to the grace behind you he will respawn and you still get the runes although you only get 50k each time, you do have to jump off the horse and rest at the grace for him to respawn and you won’t get the dragon hearts only the runes

They patched the ability to jump on gravestones and into Mog's pit to get that kill. They moved the tombstones further away so you cannot do this any longer.

Great guide for brand new accounts. If anyone has done even 10 hours they can probably skip half the steps. The only thing I’d say is yeah… having some maps in the guide would be helpful. Some of your waypoints can be pretty tough to follow exactly for a new player, especially when u run through and don’t even go to half the waypoints you set.

Up on the same spot that you jump from to get on the wall if you stand there and use the serpent arrows or blood arrows the status effects will still happen and he'll take damage from those but not the arrows themselves. You want two stacks of the blood arrows and two stacks of the serpent arrows put one stack down on the ground manually go back to the grace site rest pick up more arrows go back up there once you run out of the arrows that you have on you pick up the ones that are down on the stacks.

Oh and be careful because if he's staggers he won't take damage anymore so after you initiate the poison get too bleed effects off wait for the poison to wear off rinse repeat victory

For the dragon method once you kill it if you make it back to the grace point pretty fast I recommend premounting your horse when it's low, you then run to the grace point and rest their and the dragon will respawn and you can farm it just dont mess up the rotation.

Doing it in patch 1.08: Coudn't kill the night rider with the poison, but kited him around making him fall off the bridge. Couldn't kill Mohg using the method you showed, but did it by running around the mountain and dropping into the abyss. Rest as you said. thanks for the guide.

@@prashantarora8644 if you're indoors, in a cave/catacombs - you need to walk outside in order to teleport to a Grace site. If you're talking about the Mohg area, just open your map and press F (PC) to bring up your Grace list, then you can teleport anywhere you like.

Make sure before you go into the madness land to empty your item bar so you only have health and horse rather than scrolling through to get each. Also I think that jump was nerfed. Impossible to do now.

Actually, skip the madness land, don’t go there, go back to the chapel of anticipation using the four belfry’s, it is much much easier to beat that boss than to keep dying to madness.

For the first dragon First Find the yellow looking hand That will increase your rune Find the third church of Mercia behind that Church there’s teleported that will take you to the fort area. Just bypass those big boss and when you find the dragon at the end consume the hand and you’ll receive 9k rune. Easy method

I'm up to the Margit boss fight. Not bad for one night. I guess the only issues I ran into were the Kite Knight no longer can be kited, and the boulders only drop 21 runes, not 2100. Other than that, really really helpful. Especially considering this is my first Souls game.

Poison trick doesnt work on horse anymore but you can still bait him off the bridge. when you walk up to the bridge, on the left side you can jump back and forth between the corner of the bridge and the cliffside. the horseman will follow you around the corner and eventually will jump off if you hide behind the bridge wall

That was the final boss sword (Sacred Relic Sword I believe it’s called) and the attack was the skill that comes on it by default.

For the Night Cavalry they won’t follow you through the poison anymore but you can still cheese them by knocking them off the bridge. If you approach from the same angle in the video there is a tree at the beginning right side of the bridge, you can aggro them from there and they will ride around trying to attack, keep it up and they’ll just ride off the edge 😂

the dragon at the beginning. once you kill it if you rest at the grace before it fully disappears (its like an 11 second window so you have to be quick with the horse to pull it off) but if you do it in time the dragon will respawn but youll still get the 75k runes and you can keep farming it until you mess it up. if you already killed it youre kind of out of luck until new game+

6/5 POST PATCH MOGH CHEESE: You can still cheese Mogh, but you can no longer jump from the pillar to the wall (devs moved pillar). To do the cheese, you need a bow with 99 arrows and a non-magic melee weapon. 1. Enter the boss room and let Mogh kill you. Now, from outside the yellow door, jump on top of the pillar mentioned in the video until you can see the boss in the distance. 2. Aim your bow and keep hitting the boss with arrows until he staggers and stop shooting him. It will probably take 50-60 arrows. Just keep at it. You won’t really be doing any damage so I wouldn’t waste poison arrows. You’ll know you hit him when he flinches and you see blood. Once he staggers (stumbles down for a few seconds) you can enter the room. Now make sure you have a basic non-magic melee weapon equipped. Colossal weapons are too strong and will break the glitch. I used Uchiganta with blood loss and that worked, the blood loss actually help speed up this next part. 3. If you’ve done the Margit cheese, it will basically be the same thing. Walk up to the front of the boss (don’t try to go behind). Hit him with light attacks 8-10 times (no combos). Wait 15 seconds, then start again. Repeat until you kill him! If you use combos or don’t wait long enough to start hitting him again, it could agro Mogh. Hope that helps!

You can farm the 75k dragon if you just rush to the grace point when you land the killing blow. If you manage to touch it before you gain the runes / dragon heart- the runes at least still show up and the dragon will respawn

through some trial and error you can "lure" him to the outside of the bridge, if you use torrent and run on a tiny sliver that's protruding from the bridge, the Night-Cavalry will some times run off the edge and die.. Worked for me, good luck :-)

Awesome video. I’d add at the big dragon, where you you the 50k, get on your horse right before you kill him. When his animation starts sprint to the lost grace and rest. If done correctly he will still be there and you can kill him get the 50k again. Rinse and repeat 50k every 3ish mins
