Only other option would be the great blade variation spell with the three big blades because of the stagger. It’s a big part of his play style - staggering the bosses for the critical hits, works well with the moon veil which also deals a ton on the R2. The weapon art from rogiers rapier causes stagger unlike the normal versions of the spell.

Imagine a souls game with moveset like DMC. That's the only reason I personally can't play these games with such perfection. Lorewise the tarnished is awfully powerful but gameplay wise it's difficult to utilize those powers in a way that make you look like a badass. Even in DMD mode in DMC, one can feel power surging through and can overcome enemies in a way that makes you a legit badass. Plus, you then unlock their super characters which then allows you to cheese through the bosses even on DMD modes with ease. Although, weapons can become powerful and all but souls game lacks that feeling of being a true warrior. However, souls games are designed to be as such, so makes sense. But, is equally frustrating however with incredible story, soundtracks, bosses, enemies, arenas etc. Finally as always insane your gameplay was precise and flawless. Absolutely amazing.

I wanna take the time to express my deepest appreciation to you. As 1 of the few physical Virgil builds I've seen you inspired me to make a build similar to yours... I have 3 right sword (Glint Blade Phalanx cold Uchigatana > Moonveil > Bloodhound Step cold Uchigatana) with Bloodhound Step cold Spiked Caestus on left to simulate Beowulf. My whole build is all about poise break. And I also have both assassin dagger talismans for hp and fp on crit atk, carian fillgreed for less fp use and dagger Talisman for a lil extra umf. This video inspired my build. I've seen many sorcery Virgil builds but not many physical Virgil builds. Maybe 1. Thank you for inspiration and motivation!

How do you feel the combat compares to God of War? Do you feel like there's more or less room for error in this game? I recently just finished GoW and noticed that at higher levels with the Zeus armor equipped, you have almost no room for error. Oftentimes getting hit once means you're dead.

They definitely took some inspiration from Vergil's overall moveset. Maybe even paying homages to such well known respected OG character. You can see different variations of Vergil's signature moves in Genshin Impact a lot plus other games do it too. I am cool with paying respects and being inspired by the franchise since Vergil is one of my all time favorite video game character, like ever. He is in my top spot and havent been dethroned since. I absolutely fall in love to his character ever since I've played DMC3 which is in 2006 or 2007 if I recall it correctly, now I am 25.
