Pro tip - use Frost for your ashes when using colossal strength weapons. The base damage is higher, very few enemies are resistant to frost, and the frost proc nets massive damage.

To dodge that charge attack Malenia does you have to roll towards and to the right and then backward if I recall correctly. I would also suggest equipping a bronze shield +25 with barricade shield (or even without) and switch to it when she does the waterflow at close range so you can block the first series of blows and dodge through the rest

When Malenia is in the air about to do the crazy attack she does, you can stagger her while shes mid air to cancel the attack. idk how efficient it is but worked for me a couple of times.

@@kakkashi21999 the most consistent method for dodging her waterfowl that I have found is sprinting backwards immediately and waiting about a 6th of a second after her initial lunge dodging backwards than once through it forwards than unlocking your camera backstopping once and and than rolling forward through the end of her combo, the only problem is that for it too be possible you have to be lightweight which means you'll probs get one shot by pretty much all of her attack's unless you have 60 vigor.

The barricade shield ash of war is really good for malenia's flurry attack if she starts it at point black range. It lets you guard the first part of her flurry that how I killed her.

I’m sure you’ve already prerecorded but you can easily beat Melania if you learn to parry her. You can parry most of her moves except the upward slash and first waterfowl dance. You can apparently parry the second waterfowl barrage i just haven’t tried it since I learned it after beating her. If you don’t want to parry her, at least get a shield with the barricade ash of war and block the first hit, dodge through the second, and walk away from the third. Easy Melania.
