You can also get the Measure from Mr. Mordaut (talking red dragon) in Anachronia If you havn't done The Fate Of The Gods quest

you can get the measure once you have talked with Vice, he will tell you, you left it at anachoronia. That's when you can get the measure.

I have to thank you, most of the quest was easy for this combat noob. Your explanation of the puzzle area was spot on though it took a few tries and the final combat...first two phases were easy enough, that last one...kinda embarrassed but I used four onyx gems on my ring of death, visited Death maybe eight times. Got my butt whipped. But your guide got me through it all and I am now 429 quest points. So the Tea is on me... :)

You can try to place the last needle shard in your inventory if the final phase bugs out. That triggered Serens dialogue for me

The YAPFEST in this series of quests nearly set me over the edge. Space bar is literally the only thing that saved me from just logging out. If I had to hear my mouse click every time I needed to shutup the yapping I would have just left this quest unfinished.

If you wanna cheat your way threw the puzzle. go in the black portal then leave right away . keep doing that a bunch of times. each time you leave and enter you get 1 second. Makes it so much easier

That last phase. Ho...it seems that the eggs have perfect tracking. The Fire's easy enough to avoid, but in my game, the eggs like to stack on top of each other and pulse out 7k damage. So that's fun. One fire hit and I'm toast. Edit: I finally won. Spammed sailfish and ran around like a chicken wit its head cut off trying to dodge. Ending was worth it for a lorehound like me.

FOR ANYONE STRUGGLING ON PUZZLE STEP 6. A portal orb spawns under the 2nd rock that you move. you can literally skip the first part where you have to move the rock to get the portal orb. start the round with a boulder orb and a portal orb. when you begin the round open the portal in front of you and go through and move the first boulder, go back through the portal to grab the blue boulder orb in the first room then go back into the portal and move the 2nd boulder. pick up the portal orb and go through that portal to grab the boulder orb come back through the portal and move the 3rd boulder then run to the center of those boulders. i finished with 20 seconds left after figuring this out..

The measure is reobtainable, from MORDAT, only if you talk to him in anchronia base. If you did all the quests (except fate of the gods) Mordat is the only option for this. from world gate, if you did fate of gods. :)

One thing on the final boss stage, you don't have to attack the clones as this phase only lasts about a minute when they spawn, It easier to run around and avoid damage without also attacking.

Great guide. I know it can be really annoying to figure out and need to test constantly but us HCIM do truly love knowing for a fact wither or not we can tele out of tough fights. Just sometime I would love to know and see for sure in future guides. Don't want to stumble into something like the end of the world wakes and find.... oh I can't escape.

I didn't even consider HCIM in my thoughts at the time, good point. I can see how important that is, thankfully I did warn about the boss fight and banking but I said nothing about being able to teleport out. I have no idea if that is the case, were you able to try that yourself? If it's possible I'll add it to my pinned comment.

@@ProtoxxGaming can confirm you can tele out. Ring of life also works. Huge tip is to wear zammy war-priest as it was blocking 2.5k hits for me and other bonuses dont matter as all you need to do is survive!

@@ProtoxxGaming Not a super big deal mentioning it cause the amount of HCIM who make it this far is pretty few anyways. But as one every quest I look through has me asking the same few question. 1. Tele out? 2. Safe Death? 3. Deathtouch Dart work?. Sometimes the wiki people just don't mention things like that and it just makes me nervous doing anything high combat.

why would you even risk your hcim on this sort of fight? have you tried it with your main? with animate dead, full tank, and barricade, reflect, you can get "accidentally KO-ed easily" its a fluke/style fight

Spirit shield and crfybloom bloom set reduce all damage by half in the 3rd wave. Bring a spectrical sprit shield it will make things so much easier.

Wow this was a frustrating quest. Not to mention the timed puzzle, I lost like 10m from deaths at that last boss fight. Would get like 20-30 seconds into the green Seren clones and then get KO'd when all three mechanics started up at the same time. Argh! Lol. Then when I took it seriously and came with a full Yak of Sailfish and was about to use Animate Dead, the stupid boss fight bugged out and wouldn't instance. At least this morning it decided to work randomly but the fight was over (I don't want your pity RS!) so I was able to finish the quest lol. Thanks for the guide!

For those doing this now the boss fight final stage if u stand in the south west corner the whole fight u dont even need food all u need to do is dodge the fire by moving back and forward a few squares and keep killing the things seren spawns until its over.

I beat this quest in Legacy combat with great ease (I refuse to use eoc combat), nothing like black stone and sliske's endgame. though I only did so by a sign of life for phase 3 *10/10 would do again* (but don't actually make me do it again)

Hi there. I died during the last boss fight and when I go back it shows the shard is already placed on the marker, but it doesn't show the cutscene or start the fight over. I have 1 shard left in my inventory and there is nowhere to place it. Am I missing the last area you place it at? I've searched the whole island but I don't see a marker. When I speak to Vicendithas he says to place the shards on the markers. When I speak to Seren she asks me to stop distracting her. There is no option to leave the world gate portal and everyone has left except for Vicendithas. I know I am supposed to have a cutscene after the boss-fight and the eggs hatch, but it isn't happening. I have tried relogging, placing the shard where the shards are, placing it on Seren, nothing will trigger the boss fight or the cutscene. What am I supposed to do? Thank you.

I died about 10 times then I equipped my gold Saradomist token and I made it through and only ate like 4 sailfins, so i don't know if that was dumb luck or something else, just glad that shit quest fight is over.

When you're doing step 5, your attunement is 60%. Mine is 44%. I can't see where I've missed the orange orbs. EDIT: Crushing the rocks make the difference. Nothing to see here!

I know I’m coming to this 2 months late, but I’m having the same problem. I crushed all the rock I mined and I’ve rewatched the Erebus section of this video 20 times trying to find any rock I missed but looks like I have it all. I feel like I’m losing my mind lol. The entire quest was a joke, then the last boss wave hits you like a truck. It feels really unfair given what it throws at you before, then I realized you can cheese the fight by sitting in one of the corners behind a plant where the eggs don't hit. Also, the quest rewards seem really boring. I'd rather get a new item quest reward than more experience lamps.

I did it in a slightly different order because I didnt have a guide. I rewatched all the clips and made up an order easier to understand. This will work fine Just follow the steps as seen and you'll get the puzzle

Nice guide. The last puzzle took a bit of time, but I managed to beat it without needing the extended time. Was a very good puzzle. I completed this quest without a guide and generally liked it. The final boss's final phase did kill me a few times, though... But the lore! I love the lore drops in this and am curious what the next new storyline may bring. Just a couple of things, though. For the start of the world gate part, you don't need to go through all the options. You just need to choose Tarddiad, and you can then head straight there by clicking on the gate. I did miss out on the other options, though, which I assume would've been hilarious... Also, investigating Skargaroth and the stuff inside Naragun isn't required. I examined ol' Skar but not the temple ruins. They're likely examinable due to the world wakes. For the big puzzle, I noticed you didn't use the rift orb under the second rock for step five and instead went the longer way to get the first rift orb. It's much easier to use that one than backtrack that much, especially if you aren't at max speed. As for the skilling area, it only costs 50k mats the first time. Afterwards, they seem to request one certain mat that you can hand in to the NPC via right-click to afk for longer. Still, I like the new area and am glad the anachronia mats (which you can get compacted ones from the skilling area, just like when doing other anachronia activities!) have a use now. Hopefully someone finds these bits of info useful... Also, lol for the yak track completion pop-up. I think I got one at the exact same spot while I played the quest, too.

@@ProtoxxGaming hey, thx for answering mate. I Did complete the Quest but it was a bit different. The last 4% orb was hidden and it only appeared every ones in a while... Also at the end I couldn't go through the Door to vic and the other Guy. Had to do a mini Quest by the dragon at anachronia before the door appeared 😁

I did the quest thanks to this guide, but damn are quests terrible. If Jagex would actually animate the cut scenes instead of using power point slides, then I’d at least be invested in the story. But just showing me some scrap art and calling me “world guardian” every 10 minutes doesn’t do it for me.
